The park includes European bisons along with mouflons, deers, fallow deers, boars and many other local animals, in a forest typical of Puisaye: wild, with lots of streams and ponds and full of fascinating secret places. This side of the castle looks towards the north-west. The owner and park manageress Mrs Valérie Galabert, daughter of the parc creator Mr Pierre-Elie Borione, has endeavoured to raise the cash needed to restore the pond, which is a needed watering point for the animals in the park.
