"Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

"Mdluli is a lovely property right inside the Numbi gate of the park. The tents are large and comfortable, with new furnishings and well designed. The facilities are lovely--a nice bar/restaurant, great pool, and access to game drives are great. The staff is pleasant and hard working, always with smiles and kind words. Food was high quality and lots of variety. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely consider Mdluli for a longer stay at the park. Highly recommend. "

"When we arrived we had food in the sister lodge next door 2 mins walk away but it was stunning. Braai buffet style. Then had dinner and breakfast as Muluwa on our last night as it was reopened with new management. Absolutely perfect. Cannot fault it. We paid for a couple of the excursions. The sunset picnic was lovely. Whole day game drive was SO worth it with our lovely guide Liza. And massages were so good. This place really felt like a relaxing perfect start to our trip in SA. "The accommodations were very nice. Unfortunately there were daily electricity outages. The resort made no effort for guests to be cared for during outages, which happened three times a day for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Everything is electric. Foreigners are not accustomed to these problems and are stranded in the dark with no resources. The resort needs to find a way to care for their guests during outages."

"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit.
