"Hotel was great! Very new and modern hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. We were there during the stock market building fire (obviously beyond their control) which made the hotel smell like smoke, but the hotel staff went through vigorous lengths to remove the smell from the building in a timely manor, which was well appreciated. Hotel is close to transportation and many good restaurants which is beneficial. Would definitely recommend this hotel again in Copenhagen."

"Lobby music Friday and Saturday evening was very loud. We got the wrong room and had to change, but with that the staff were lovely and efficient in correcting. The breakfast is out of this world, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The rooms of a high standard, but not very big. We upgraded to a premium double and you would do well to manage to open two large suitcases. Bathroom was very nice, and beds super comfortable. When I checked in at reception, they asked if I was aware of the renos, which I wasn’t. Well, at 7am (when you don’t want to me awake on vacation!) the Reno’s start :( "

"The location of Danhostel is quite central and was perfect for us. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and walk-in shower. The staff at reception and behind the bar was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and had plenty of choices to suit everyone. The addition of pastries would be nice.
