"Nice comfortable one night stay in the heart of Port Elizabeth. Well located in central Walmer close to the best coffee shops and dining options. Service and welcome was fantastic and service throughout exceptionally good from all staff members. Feel the furnishings are dated and need some upgrading, appreciate that the style is Victorian however I feel that some of the general areas need upgrading. The rooms were extremely large and well equipped."

The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. "A great place if you want to be 'off grid' for a bit. Lovely location and accommodation with great wide views. All the staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meals were faultless. We are happy to recommend and hope to return again one day. We would suggest of if you are want to do a trip into Addo Elephant Park with the lodge, that you book in advance. "Simply outstanding hotel near Addo Elephant Park. Special mention for Edwin on front of house who accomodated our dietary needs perfectly. The food was simply spectacular at both breakfast and dinner and the setting overlooking a pond with weaver birds is very special. The photos dont do justice to the welcome you receive as the futnishings are a little old school, but the room size and facilities are very good. Trips to Addo on their landcruiser were easy and trouble free. "
