"The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is wonderful about ten minutes the Kruger gate and ten minutes to shopping mall in hazyview. The food was excellent and the room was clean and well maintained. Our only issue was with the pool area. The deck is in need of repair and the pool had algae on the top so we didn't use it. Other travelers were also very friendly. Would stay again."

"The rooms were lovely and the staff were for the most part friendly however at this price point the lack of attention to detail was not acceptable. Room snacks were inadequate and not replentished daily. Personal amenities not replenished daily. Food was good but the menu needs work: no pork served (if you want to serve Halal that should be an option, not the norm), one day lunch was all salads but the next no salads, bread served with first dinner but not the remaining ones, Hotels.com amenities do not match hotel website amenities, Cheese platter served without biscuits, some days poolside service but others we had to look for service. I have stayed at other hotels in the area that were better. At the price, I expect exceptional, not ordinary."

"Everything about the lodge was amazing from the room to the safaris with our guide Barry and tracker Eddy. Ntombi was amazing during the meals. All staff was very friendly and made our short stay amazing. I would recommend this lodge to anyone going there. I will definitely if I get the opportunity. "
