"We had a great time! Easy walk to the beach, beautiful views from the balconies overlooking the creek. The perfect place for me, my wife, our two kids (5 & 8), our friend and his 10 year old, and my brother and his wife. We got plenty of rest and enjoyed our stay while attending a nearby music festival. Would definitely stay again!"

"Very comfortable - beds were soft, sheets were great and water pressure was nice. There was a problem with city drains so the parking lot was flooded a couple nights, which caused a lot of dirt to be tracked into the unit, but this wasn't a problem with the rental. Location was close to everything we needed."

"Excellent experience in every way. The house was clean and perfectly suited for my wife and two young kids. The beach was a quick walk down the street and there is a really nice park nearby as well. The owners were very responsive and professional. Zero complaints, would visit again "

"The street this condo is on is being renovated, so we were a little nervous when we got through the really nice neighborhood and then passed houses in various states of disrepair to get into this unit. In the end, that is not a reflection of what this suite is like, but worth noting the expectation. Don't let what's temporarily happening on the street deter you from staying here.The suite was very nice. Super clean, fresh, and comfortable for my wife and I and our two kids. There are something like a dozen or more units in this building, four in each entrance, and it was still a pretty quiet stay. The young couples below us were a little noisy around 10 but got quiet pretty quickly. We really appreciated the extra beach chairs! We needed to borrow two. :) This was a great option for us to be close enough to the beach without paying twice as much for the beachfront. There are 3 Norfolk area beaches within a couple miles from the suite, but VA Beach city is only a 20 min drive, so you get there early enough in the morning to get beachside parking. We had no problems with this arrangement, and it was great to be able to go back to a room that was quiet without dealing with hotel traffic. Reviews of the area in general are mixed, but I will say it was a pleasant area. 5-10 years ago it was probably a much different place, but it's been renovated consistently over time and it looked pretty safe. One more gem: AMAZ ASIAN Cafe!Would definitely stay again."

"The modern decor, cleanliness (comfortable bedding) and proximity to the beach was very nice. Unfortunately there was road construction right next to the property and parking was very tight. Units below us had odors that wafted up and loud music was played past midnight. Communicating with the manager seemed to be via AI and did not feel personal although they were responsive. Bath fixtures were coming off the wall and they had insect spraying scheduled during our stay which was not ideal but we accommodated them. It served our needs but we would probably not book again based on how busy a location it is - didn’t realize they have about 16 units in the horseshoe. "
