We had a family room (i.e. 3 single beds). Room was spacious, clean, nothing to complain about. But quite basic, especially when you factor in the price. I guess the rate is relative to the great location for the Christmas market and time of the year!
The hotel is spotless. They held our luggage so we could go find the parking which was about a block away. The rooms are very clean and plenty of room for all our suitcases. Breakfast was wonderful. Great area.
Nice hotel with a great location. We were there to check out the Christmas Market and the walk was short. Underground parking was a plus (extra fee), but spots are limited. The front desk person was very helpful and friendly.
Perfect location, less than 5 min walk to the cathedral and shopping areas and walking distance to the thermal bath. I appreciated the clean sheets and blackout curtains. Facility was well maintained and spotless. Very quiet during the night even though it seemed liked it was very booked. Very spacious as well.
This hotel was clean, functional, no real complaints. I didn't love the "check in with a machine" process - it just felt so impersonal. But there were staff available to meet needs. Overall a fine hotel, decent stay.
Was pleasantly surprised - for a budget friendly hotel this place was more than good. The room was large for our family of 4. Beds comfortable and outside noise with windows open was limited. Parking was available for 15 euros but was very hard to find at back of hotel - and involved an elevator for car.
Great restaurants around - highly recommend the Japanese across the lights
Friendly staff, perfect location, clean room - although very small. It would have been convenient to have a couple of glasses inside the room. The hotel has no parking, but has a special price arrangement for a parking near by.

Disliked: Amenities
I didn't appreciate being extorted for 15 euros to check in 3 hours early after a red-eye international flight when room was already prepared. Property is conveniently located along pedestrian retail street and easy walking distance to tourist attractions like Dome, but prudes should be aware that red-light district is literally around the corner.

Noisy bed but nice room
Front desk was welcoming, friendly, and professional. Our room was neat and clean. Unfortunately our son’s bed (lower bunk in room 405) made a cracking noise every minute or so (whether he moved or not) and keep all of us awake most of the night. We still have no idea what made the noise. We stayed only one night.

Disliked: Staff & service
Property was very convenient for visiting the Aachen Cathedral. Hotel was clean, except that I did find two roaches in my room. Also, the evening check-in staff wasn't very friendly. Seemed annoyed at questions. However, there was one staff member, a tall, thin, young man with black hair, who was very helpful in answering questions about the hotel and locale.
B&B Aachen is what you'd expect for the price point. The bed could have been comfier but the room was spacious and clean. The only area in which I felt cleanliness suffered was the shower which blocked a little because of hair not having been removed.
B&B have a good environmental message about towels, but they exchanged mine twice despite me hanging them up. They do offer bottle recycling.
The breakfast had a reasonable variety with a nice selection of cheeses, bread, fruits and cereal.
Despite the small grumbles I was happy with my stay. The staff were super friendly, always with a smile on their faces and all able to converse in English.
