"When we arrived we asked where we should park. We were told park along the street and at the pay and display, to get a three hour free ticket. I specifically asked if that three hour ticket would be enough to get us till the free parking at night and was told yes. She was wrong."

"Great staff, secure covered parking, clean rooms. Not the nicest part of town, but close to trains and within walking distance of the historic city centre. The dingy hallways detracted from the nice rooms, reception and breakfast areas. "

The pool sauna and spa were a fantastic extra and the kitchen was equipped with everything we could ever need. All this in the beautiful setting and gardens in the beautiful Dordogne. We would return in a heartbeat. "

"Lovely place to stay. Hôtel old chateaux, so don’t expect new hotel. It blends old tradition with comfort. Dining wonderful and food superb. Great stop off and short drive to town. "

"The property was very spacious and impressive and we enjoyed our stay. The garden and pool area has a calm ambience and is spacious with multiple separate areas providing space for different activities. We enjoyed the pool and terrace. The location is in a quiet part of the town and 20 to 30 minutes walk to centre of a fairly big town but lots of parking in town if you choose to drive. The many valley of D’ordogne attractions near Sarlat are an hour to hour and a half drive away, with Brantôme and Chateau de HAUTEFORT within 40 minutes drive and both really worth a visit."
