The moment we walked into the house, we were whisked away into a peaceful, serene environment with the most breathtaking views. Plus, the house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The property was really nice (minus the bugs and spiders, but that comes with the area). It was difficult to connect with the owner through the vrbo site. We didn't receive our check in code until after the check in time. It was also difficult to use the TV given the poor phone signal and Wi-Fi connection. Overall, it was a good experience.

Diamond Hill Mine Trip

This place was perfect for our trip to a local mine (only 7 minutes away!). The host responded quickly with answers to my questions. The place was beautiful and perfect for two families with kids. The views of the lake from inside and outside of the house was spectacular. It had everything we needed to prepare dinner and plenty of storage for food. The dining table gave plenty of space for our group of 7. There was a little driveway to the back to easily load and unload coolers of food or groceries right into the downstairs kitchen area. It was too cold for swimming but the dock area was large and suitable for a large group to enjoy the water together. We would all like to stay here again on our next trip to Diamond Hill Mine.

Unbelievable hidden gem

The pictures for this wonderful home do not do this place justice. It is so much more than what you think it's going to be. We have stayed at many vacation homes and enjoyed them greatly. This was an outstanding "Experience". From the pampering setup of the master suite with an beautiful soaking tub and a shower enclosure that you wont want to leave to the tranquil porch off of the master suite that when you sit and observe all there is to see, you'll realize that time can really slow down. The kitchen was the type that makes you want to cook for everyone present. The lower porch off of the living room was perfect for watching people move about the lake with ease as well as the constant soft breeze that takes you to your happy place. This is one of those rare places that makes you realize that vacations are always too short and you cant wait to return to it as fast as possible. It's easy to understand why this little slice of Heaven is so popular. Once you've stayed here, you can't imagine staying anywhere else. We definately cant wait to return.

Super Fantastic Stay

We booked here because we wanted to be on a lake while checking out the local Crystal mine, Diamond Hill Mine. We ended up getting so much more then a house on a lake. The dock was a great place to relax and fish. I could not believe how warm the lake was for swimming after getting muddy and dirty at the mine. The neighbor has 4 of the cutest kittens that came over to play. My kids were in heaven. The house is so comfortable with all the amenities you can think of. The beds were so comfortable and that master bathroom was HUGE! We loved sitting outside on both of the porches. There are TVs everywhere. Honestly, the pictures don’t do this house justice. If you are looking for an escape from it all, this is the spot. We would most certainly return again.
