"We had a very peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful lodge. We went old school and took board games and cards for the evenings. Perfect for a couple wanting some time away from everything. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cosy. Checking in and out was easy and all the information we needed was provided beforehand. There is a handy guide to use upon arrival about the accomdation and area. It was lovely to be able to have our dogs there and it had plenty of space for them to run around."

"Our stay at the Bryn Eiddon lodge was amazing, the views were unreal and is located in a very peaceful and private area. The lodge has everything you need, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. We loved it (especially our pup) and will definitely be returning!"

"The staff were very welcoming. Our room had been excellently prepared, was clean and well equipped, also the bathroom and the air-con worked well. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on that. The only slight downside was the window which didn’t shut properly, the woodwork needing some attention on the outside. As the weather was windy, we had a moaning noise from the wind most of the time. Not too much of a problem, but could definitely do with being seen to."
"Clean and nice staff, decent size rooms, everything you need. Nice size pool, decent sauna and steam room. Negatives are that it is quite dated, although it is quite well kept. Also you have to pay £1 for use of the jacuzzi, which is strange, and not really worth it. The gym is very dated and quite run down, but they have a few machines and enough for a decent and varied workout. The cleaning products they use in the rooms though are quite pungent and not in a nice way."
"The hotel is right off the main A road so very handy for travel with parking spaces out the front. The room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The shower was nice and powerful. The grounds to this hotel are really lovely and the pub/restaurant itself was decent with nice staff and delicious food. Point to note is there is nothing around this hotel so make sure you check times and book in for evening meals if needed."
"The property was very quirky. It was well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was not a lot of space for clothes e.g. drawers or shelves for putting clothes, only the one very small wardrobe.
If anyone has problems with stairs there was a spiral staircase which was quite tricky. It looks amazing though. The breakfast was very nice, no self service, all brought to the table."
"It's difficult to believe a hotel this bad can function. I was given a twin despite booking a 'superior double'. The furniture was worn, the plug in the handbasin didn't work, the heavy TV was attached to the wall with a small bracket missing several screws, and bizarrely the tea-tray had a dessert spoon and fork instead of teaspoons! But most noticeably there were no towels. I pointed this out and was told "We're aware of it. It's being seen to." Several hours later, desperate for a shower, I phoned the out-of-hours number (the hotel does not have 24/7 reception as claimed) and asked again for towels. Someone came to my door, threw a single towel at me and walked off without a word. Meanwhile in another room, my wife had towels but no hot water. Getting to sleep was difficult as my room faced onto the courtyard/carpark where superbright security lights blast out all night, and there are no blackout curtains on the window. At about 5am one of the guests, drunk as a skunk, started stamping around the hotel, aggressively swearing at the top of his lungs, for an hour. When it came time for breakfast, everyone had to step over him as he had passed out on the stairs in a pool of urine. We checked out early and moved into the chain hotel across the road. I requested a refund for the nights we missed but the hotel refused. They simply do not care about their guests: no explanations, no apologies, they just want your money. Do NOT, under any circumstances, stay at the Four Seasons."
"Breakfast was good, room was tired but bedding was very clean. You have to request sea view rooms before checking in as we found out… even though we arrived a hour before the scheduled check in time all sea view rooms where already been allocated."
