"This guy place when we got there stated that they had call to verify we were coming…. We had a reservation….. Anyway, 8 hrs from home they gave our room away to others who made 3 times what we had reserved for. Horrible people and No one left a light on!"

"The whole place had carpets removed causing roaches to come out. There were minimal items at breakfast, no eggs or bacon, no juices, just waffles. Needless to say, we won't be staying there anymore. Plus, over priced hotel. Prices should be lowered due to service and overall condition of the hotel. "

"We’ve stayed at the WHITTEN many times at this new place and the one near the interstate. We have always been completely satisfied with everything they do. We plan to stay with them every time we’re in Abilene and need a room."

"The lobby smelled of sewer. The room was well air conditioned but musty. I had to remove a very large water roach that was dying, but not there yet. The bathroom was fairly clean and the towels seemed to have been washed. This was the last option I had for the night other than sleeping in my car. Next time, I’d sleep in the car. The front desk person was very polite."
