"Excellent location with beach access from the back garden. Beach is big and flat with shallow channels which is perfect place for toddlers to play and have a great time. The house is fine, Toogoom is quiet and I'd go back in a heartbeat."

RARE RIVERFRONT - PEACE OF HEAVEN IN PACIFIC HAVEN

10/10 Excellent

"The house was very clean when we arrived, no problems checking in, rooms were extremely generous in size, plenty of bathrooms and kitchen equipment. Property was ideal for our family of 17, Grandparents, children and grandchildren, still felt spacious despite the numbers. Fantastic location if you’re into fishing and boating. Our boat was tied up at the jetty for the duration of our stay. Kym (host) was very responsive and helpful. The only negative was that the outside of the property(decks, pool equipment etc) is in need of a little bit of maintenance however, this didn’t impact on the enjoyment of our stay. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor pools."

"We received a friendly welcoming smile after 7 long hours on the road, which was lovely. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed, with an extremely comfortable bed. Even though this motel is just on the outskirts of Childers, it was only a 3min drive back into town. There's lots restaurants & pubs offering meals, with several places offering takeaway, so we could dine back in our room if we preferred. All in all, a great motel to stay in."

"Spent a week with Family at Toogoom retreat. Plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have some chill out time. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house which was fantastic. They even catered for the little ones (high chair, portacot, cutlery etc). The mosquitoes and sand flies are relentless during early morning and late afternoon (not just by the water but around the outside of the house as well) so make sure you take plenty of Bushman’s and mosquito coils.
