We stayed at the novotel as it was a good inbetween from the airport and locations we were looking to visit and the rooms were decent. As I had a long transit n Abu Dhabi, I intentionally booked for 2 nights so we would not have to wait to check in for 2pm as we reaching early morning and provided the Novotel team with our arrival info. Still ended up waiting for the room to be prepped as the staff at Novotel clearly had not read my message. So disappointed in that sense but overall the rooms and hotel is well maintained Hotel itself is clean

Checking in was smooth. Staff was very friendly. Rooms seemed old. Bath towels were terrible - rough and old is an understatement. Hot water was almost nonexistent. Breakfast buffet was ok - nothing extraordinary.

The stay was good.The bathroom had no toiletries like tooth brush, paste and razor. The bed had only two pillows and no extra. The breakfast was good and had a sumptous spread.

This hotel is relatively close to the airport and close to some attractions like the Grand Mosque or even the F1 circuit isn’t too far away. The spa facilities are great. Nice staff too.

Avoid at peak times

Very average stay. Reached the hotel at 5pm (check-in time was 2pm) and still waited an hour to be checked in. Eventually was given a People of Determination room which we accepted since we did not have the energy or patience to waste more time. Wifi in the hotel is extremely slow. Taxi are easily available and the hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Service was fabulous. The male spa facilities need urgent attention. The pool was being renovated but we didn’t know this until arrival. We would have picked another hotel with a pool if we knew. Management compensated us for this inconvenience though, which was very efficient. Rooms ok, just a bit damp in bathroom. Tap leaking in kitchen and shower leaking all over the floor in bathroom

This was my second time within 2 weeks I stayed in Novotel, the same story. Not very good customer service, smelly room, horrible pillows, AC was blowing cold air straight into a nose, couldn't change this set up, AC controller was failing apart, found hairs in the bathroom, shower was leaking.

The hotel is far away from everything. But, theres a bus stop out front that is very convenient. I could get anywhere within an hour. The hotel staff are awesome and friendly. The breakfast was delicious each day. The buffet at night was very pricy at $50 US dollars. I only ate there once. But it was delicious and a great variety of ethnic foods. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable.i was on the 9lth floor. There are no real views of anything in this location. I would stay here again though, when im back in Abu Dhabi.

Asked for double sofa bed to sleep on just got a sofa which doesn’t open into sofa bed. Half board is a joke just a buffet which they questioned you if you go up more than once.

Lovely Hotel but no sun ever on the Pool

The hotel is about 15 mins from the airport and a further 15 mins from Abu Dhabi Centre with nothing else around. This was a negative for us. The hotel check-in took forever, and we were the only ones (pre Paid), although they said it was a new system. The staff throughout were very good, especially the concierge team. We stayed on the 20th floor in a suite, and the space and views were superb. We opted for half board, and we were very pleased with the quality and range of food available. The one major downfall at this hotel is that the pool, although lovely and comfy, it does not get the sun at any time. Our plans for a day by day sightseeing and day by day pool was, therefore, not an option. We enjoyed a magnificent xmas Eve festive dinner outside and must say that we were super impressed. The Belgian Bar provided plenty of TVs for sport and a pool table with the downside of smokers inside (personal choice and so used to the UK laws now). The Italian Restaurant offered a superb selection of Pizzas and Pasta (241) after 6 pm daily. Overall, the hotel is lovely, the staff could not do anything more to help and please, the food was very good and the bar offered plenty. The downside is that the hotel stands alone with nothing around, and the Pool never ever sees the sun due to its position at the rear.
