Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Einzelnes müsste am Gebäude, bzw in den Zimmern renoviert werden. Die Dusche hatte kaum Wasser, Schubladen im Bad fielen auseinander.

The property is really run-down and scandalously overpriced. My room had a broken sliding door onto the verandah (which was also in a bad state), so it was sealed and I could not let fresh air in. As the window and bathroom had no other form of ventilation, the room did mot meet basic health and safety standards. When I asked to change room, I was told this was not possible. The breakfast is also terrible - limited selection and low-quality food

The front desk staff treated us very differently on our two stays here. We check out for a few days, traveled, then came back. The 2nd time we checked in we we do much better then the first time. The lady was way friendlier and offered us a cold drink which was wonderful on that hot day.

We stayed at this property two separate times in one week and had a very different experiences when we checked in both times. I’d have to say the second check in that we had on Friday was much better than the first one. Everyone was very efficient and we were offered a cold drink, which was greatly appreciated.

Nice stay
Wow…such a beautiful hotel. It’s at the beach and also in a very convenient location . Not too far from city center and the airport. Just a few minutes drive. I love my stay here. I will always choose here over any beach hotel in Accra.

The breakfast was good and the rooms have adequate size and amenities. Although the property is close to the beach there is no access to the beach from the property. The one gate had a padlock during my stay. Service was frustratingly slow. In order to get towels and toilet paper it took 4 phone calls, 2 visits to the front desk, and 8 hours. We had ants in our bed and had to explain why we could not continue to sleep in the room after the bed had been sprayed but the sheets not changed. Once our room was changed we were in a room that the lights periodically turned off and on, the bathroom windows was not completely installed so it let in mosquitoes, and the adjoining room doors were left unlocked. In order to get the adjoining door “locked” it required multiple calls to the front desk, three people coming to look, and finally a maintenance worker nailed the door shut. Needless to say I would not recommend this hotel.

Labadi beach is a nice area. The hotel is on a sprawling property with various activities to keep busy with. The room suite was nice as well. As a default they should keep insect spray in the rooms as I had to call housekeeping to get one. Also, I was fortunate to have two bathrooms as the shower head in one burst out from the connection due to the high pressure. There did not seem to be a clear walkway to the beach from the hotel property or backyard. Food was pleasant. It is a taxi ride away from the city center. Overall I did like the hotel.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that is in Greater Accra and close to the airport, this is it! Most of the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The pool and grounds are absolutely stunning. The Ghanaian restaurant is phenomenal. After seeing other hotels in the area, this one could use a major room update (it’s like it was from the 70s). I ended up unplugging the lamps in my room because they either shocked me or would spark when I turned them on. The breakfast buffet was a 4/5 but the staff working the breakfast shift were inattentive. They often stood in the corner and it felt really awkward to ask for coffee or water. If on a budget and if wanting to enjoy a beautiful pool area, this is a decent stay.

Friendly and helpful staff and decent food. Otherwise, a very disappointing hotel. The lock on the door to my room malfunctioned intermittently throughout my stay - it would read my card, but not unlock. I suspect this was probably related to the fact that the locks on several of the rooms around me looked like someone had tried to pry them off, with deep gauges in the door around the locks, and cardboard backing for the lock where you'd usually find wood. The room itself was eh. Fine, but not worth what they charge. The sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. There was a leak coming from somewhere that left a pool of water on the bathroom floor. The beach is basically a garbage dump. The hotel's one saving grace would be that the grounds and pool area are nice. With a dingy room and beach, I thought I'd enjoy the evening reading by the pool to at least enjoy the grounds. Within 10 minutes I was solicited by three prostitutes. I don't see how this can happen without the hotel allowing it. All in all, clearly a hotel with friendly staff, but poor management that are doing little to nothing to maintain the place, and allowing prostitutes to harass guests who try to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

A Pleasant West African Experience

We enjoyed our stay as everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. When there were issues with our room, we had them recognize them before we did and they made adjustments including switching our room for a lighting issue. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of local and international foods including an in-site chef for crepes and omelettes. The Ghanaian restaurant outside has a nice ocean breeze and good drinks. My son loved the pool.

I paid for late checkout but then could not get back into my room and when I called the front desk, they weren’t very helpful. Looked like it was a very nice hotel ten years ago, and has not received a lot of maintenance since then. The real turn off for me though was the prostitutes loitering around the pool after dark looking for clients. Some of them were aggressive in their solicitations too.

The staff were always smiling and helpful but the condition of the property needs attention. On arrival the hotel staff member who took me to my room was unable to get the electronic key to work which left me waiting outside the room for 15 minutes having just flown in; subsequently I had to have the key reprogrammed six times as there was clearly a fault with the lock. Next, the electrics in the room were a problem in so much as boiling the kettle tripped the system; this was resolved but it should not have occurred. Finally, one morning the water pressure was so low that having a shower wasn't possible; again this was resolved but the combination of issues doesn't give a good impression of the level of maintenance.

Ee pretty much liked everything. The water pressure in the shower could be a bit more water coming out of it. The water pressure was very low and the food breakfast buffut could be a little bit hotter meaning heat, orher than that you would not be disappointed. We plan on trying to get all of our families to come back with us it's about 20 people. We really love pretty much every single day of our stay, so please keep up with the good work.

The property is beautiful and well kept. For the most part the staff is extremely well trained antenna. Need breakfast buffet was plentiful and diversive. I would not have to book another night in order for a late plane departure was incredible.

Highly Recommend this Hotel
I absolutely LOVE this hotel and the fact that they completely understand hospitality, customer service and professionalism. This was my first trip to Ghana (as well as west Africa) so I didn’t fully know what to expect. This hotel really amazed me with everything especially the food! It was soooo good and the pool area was a lot of fun along with the various activities and parties on site. Will definitely stay here again and recommended to friends interested in visiting Accra.
