"If only we could leave extra stars! This stay was absolutely the best of all the stays we’ve experienced around the world!! Our host was so friendly and welcoming, and made us feel like we were staying with family (you know, the kind of family you actually WANT to stay with, lol!)! Breakfast was delicious and nutritious and when we advised that we would skip breakfast in favour of an early sightseeing start, we found a take-away breakfast waiting us at our door ❤️. This was such an unexpected and appreciated gesture! Another indication of how we felt so welcomed was to find trekking poles outside our door the morning after one of us broke a toe while high-jumping a sidewalk bollard chain 😂. This was another unexpected and very much appreciated extra that would never have been imagined! We really felt welcome and it was bittersweet leaving. And the room - amazing!! 20ft ceilings, brand new condition and mirrors to maximize the spaciousness. We were in a corner unit, so we had two walk-outs to the wrap-around balcony. Espresso maker, kettle and fridge were welcomed amenities and the area was quiet. Parking was a few meters away, and there was plenty of nearby free street parking as well, if that’s your preference. An elevator was present, which was welcomed after the toe mishap, otherwise the stairs were wide and easy to navigate with a suitcase. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Room clean, actually had the choice of two rooms once we arrived. Parking is right outside the gate, access is simple. Gisella and Orazio were great hosts and explained everything very well."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Tecla Palace. The facilities were excellent - beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea, just like the photos. Plenty of sunbeds to relax in. Easy access to swim in the sea from the hotel, with lifeguards on duty. Delicious food at all the restaurants. There isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding area - we walked into the nearest town one evening but we decided that the bars and restaurants on offer at the hotel were much nicer. This was perfect for us as we had intended our short trip to be a relaxing one based in the hotel, but for anyone hoping to explore Sicily a bit more I'd recommend renting a car, as taxis can be expensive. "

"Unfortunately the bathroom in our room had. Horrible smell of rotten sewerage, I thought it will get better, but had to ask to be moved on the 2nd day, but was told that they were full; yet we never saw anyone! The breakfast was very skimpy and literally it looked like they counted the persons and only put like one piece of cheese and one slice of Coldcut per person, and that was it. If you were four people like we were, they were only four and sometimes only two slices of ham. Not very good selection. The worst part also is our room was right on top of their restaurant and it was very noisy from the morning till late at night. However, I guess if you have a better room, the experience will probably be a three star for Italy all around."

It was perfect in every way and the owners and staff were gracious, generous in sharing their time and knowledge of places to visit, restaurants, etc. We stayed for a week snd loved every moment! We consider La Corte dei Limoni the super star of the 5 places we stayed in Italy during this trip."
