Great place to stay

The property is very peaceful and well kept. The grounds are spacious and beautiful. Many great beaches nearby and there is much to do on the accommodation such as pool, darts, fishing, walking. Harry and Carolyn also offered to take us to see and feed their cows and goats. A very enjoyable stay!

Perfect stay in beautiful location

The location and house are beautiful, we really enjoyed walking around the farm and going fishing in the lake. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The house is perfect with everything you need for your stay. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Australia.

Gorgeous views

This was a beautiful place to stay, and waking up to that view every morning was stunning. The gardens were gorgeous. Great for a restful weekend if you don't have to go anywhere. I just wish I had a bit more time to enjoy it.

Imagination became reality

We are so grateful to have our short holiday at this place. Harry and Carolyn are such wonderful neighbors who had the magic to make people feel as if we stayed for long years together. A beautiful place matched with wonderful people. We are 100% satisfied. We found what we imagined. We'll obviously have another trip to the same place.

Country retreat

What a beautiful property. The lake and gardens have many large native birds, sulfur crested cockatoos, yellow tailed black cockatoos, kookaburra, Adelaide Rosellas, as well as smaller birds. The goats have a wonderful playground to enjoy. So fun to watch their antics. One of our guys even caught a fish in the lake on his first day! (Rods provided by the hosts) We were also lucky enough to see 2 koalas in trees beside one of the dirt roads leading down to the main road. The area is lovely and relaxing too, we found lots of lovely coffee shops and places for eating out. And for the colder weather there is a fireplace which heats the place up beautifully. Great hosts, Carolyn and Harry were very friendly and helpful. Going the extra mile to make our stay so wonderful.

My partner and I came for our first anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better stay! It was everything we wanted. Beautiful scenery, plenty of opportunities for bird and wildlife spotting, a huge expanse of fields to explore, goats to play with, and Harry kindly took us out in his ute for a brilliant morning feeding the cows and bush bashing across the land. The unit was private, spacious and spotless and Carolyn left us a gorgeous cupcake each from a local patisserie. We felt welcome and safe and we will definitely be coming back for our next anniversary! Thank you both for such a wonderful experience!

Beautiful property, fantastic hosts

We had a great few days here. Harry and Carolyn's hospitality was superb and really made us feel comfortable to relax and enjoy the whole property. They were kind enough to let us participate in moving the cows and brushing and feeding the goats, which was a great experience for the whole family. A fire was set for us. We enjoyed the games room. The unit itself and surrounding garden are gorgeous, but there's a whole surrounding property to walk and enjoy as well. Even the roads leading to the property were a pleasure to drive. Really glad we chose to stay! Highly recommended.

Family long weekend

We had a great time at the farm. Our hosts did everything to accommodate us. They took us for rides around the property, the kids could feed the animals. We lived the fireplace in the house and the game room kept the kids entertained. We will be surely back :)

Country getaway

My fiancé and I booked this place to stay for the weekend while we were in the area for a wedding. We ended up having to book an extra night earlier than originally planned which Carolyn replied to promptly and the process was easy. The unit had everything we needed and although attached to the main house, still felt like our own private area. The grounds are beautiful and Harry and Carolyn gave us a great experience before we left, letting us pat their very friendly goats and went for a drive around the property visiting the cows. They clearly love their animals (every single one has a name!) and were so accommodating to us. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Short trip away with small children

We had a lovely time, the kids loved getting to pat the goats and look at the cows. Location is just beautiful, overlooking a lake and beautiful garden around the house. Hosts were so accomodating and very patient explaining to the kids about the animals. Thank you Carolyn and Harry,

Beautiful property and people

We had a lovely time at the property. Carolyn and Harry were very welcoming and available to assist with anything. Such a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of space to walk around and see and feel like the place was yours. The accomodation was clean and homely with an amazing view of the dam. Couldn’t recommend staying here highly enough for anyone looking to escape in to a real country experience

The place was as lovely as the host!

It was such a great experience over here, an escape from the bustling world. The hosts were amazing as the property was. The goats and calves were very adorable. Needless to say night sky was awesome too.
