Adorable lakeside cottage with wonderful view. Great for relaxing, swimming, perfect for kayak and canoe ( both available for use). Very responsive host.

Quaint place for a couple

Very nice little place on the lake. The furniture is not the most comfortable, but hey, you’re in a camp, so it works out just fine. Kitchen and bathroom are convenient, nice strong shower. Fishing right from the dock, caught smaller sized fish, but plenty of them and a good variety of fish, too. Saw beavers, loons, blue heron, and the most amazing thing: the hummingbirds! They frequent the feeder right outside the door. Very nice for a couple’s getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful vacation

Beautiful, quiet lakefront cabin. My spouse, toddler, medium size dog, and I had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Beautiful Place!

Great spot in a lovely little town! We enjoyed the lake and the quiet home while exploring the lakes around the adirondacks! Would stay here again!

Lovely Aderondack Cottage.

Such a perfect Aderondack location with a. beautiful view. Not far from other well known lakes and attractions. Property listing is accurate, If communication with host is needed, no problem as responce is excellent. We enjoyed our time at this lovely Aderondack cabin surrounded by nature in a peaceful and quiet setting.

Exceptional View!

The view was outstanding and the water was clean and nice for swimming. For my husband and myself (being in our mid-70s); the bed was hard to get into. This is a great place for younger couples who want to use it as a home base for all the activities in the area.

Great view. Terrible sofa.

Lovely cottage. Beautiful location. Horrible furniture. Unfortunately the sofa was very poor quality, small and extremely uncomfortable. Not ideal for a relaxing vacation.

Best lake view of all lakes in Adirondack visited by us

The pond is small by Adirondack standard, but the setting is perfect. We took our best lake view pictures here right in front of the cottage.

Adorable cottage! Comfortable and clean. The view is awesome…right on Beaver Pond! Love the location. This was our second trip. I would highly recommend this rental!

Peaceful Getaway

My 2 adult kids and I stayed here last year and wanted to return for a couple days of peace and tranquility. Fish off the dock, listen to the owls at night, plus the stars are amazing. Jon is a great host, this was just what we needed. Highly recommended for a quaint little cabin getaway.

Lovely Adorandack Vacation experience

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love it. The house is clean and the owners are very nice and answer any questions you have. The location is perfect. It is a very quiet relaxing location to just connect with nature and decompress. Yet minutes away from attractions.

Cute cabin

The cabin was quaint and quiet. We planned lots of tourist sightseeing and the trips were not too far (but also not a 5 minute drive). The pond was absolutely beautiful in autumn. Hosts were very responsive when we communicated.

Quaint getaway

Very peaceful cottage and pond. Canoe, paddleboat were supplied and cottage was well stocked. Host was VERY responsive which was great. There is a road between the pond and house which was deceiving On-line. Loft is very small so I don’t recommend if needing to sleep up there.

I would rent this many more times! This was a perfect getaway, the use of the boats were so fun for my kids and I. I loved that it was a home away from home. The host was quick to respond and the property is beautiful! I didn't want to leave, but i look forward to renting this again over the summer and taking my kids here. This beats camp grounds anyday!!! Thank you for this experience. You have provided such a welcoming and lovely place. The memories i got to make here with my kids are unforgetable!

A couples retreat

It was well equipped but it’s really suited for couples. The pullout sofa and upstairs beds weren’t comfortable. Also the upstairs could use a good cleaning. The stairs to get there aren’t the safest and the large window can easily be opened so not safe for young children. However, it’s a cute cabin with a wonderful porch and outside area. Loved the boats and fire pit, the beautiful view and the closeness to Chestertown.
