You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. It is more beautiful the pictures because the stunning, breath taking and sweeping views fill your soul from sunrise to sunset and even including the star gazing!. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food is delicious creatively blending Polynesian and French influences. The accommodation huts give you the feeling of being transported into Tahitian life ❤️"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful."
