Amazing property but lack of food and drink quality and too quiet, would recommend more music at poolside and La carte restaurant to upgrade esp the Moroccan should be more traditional decor and ambience food quality not the bes, and drinks are water down esp cocktails, the best things we enjoy was the poolside scenery and the jungle bar atmosphere, the entertainment nighttime can improve and have more Arabian culture music.

Beautiful property! Very well maintained and the staff work very hard to keep it that way. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Huge selection of good food at the buffet. Excellent spa facilities. Lots of beautiful seating areas around the resort. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Fantastic stay!

We have just spent a week at the RIU Taghazout, beautiful hotel with immaculately kept grounds. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for you! Particularly Rami in the restaurant - Thankyou for the fantastic service all week! The food was delicious - did get a little same-y but that’s to be expected with an all inclusive, there were however plenty of options enough to please any palette! An abundance of pools to choose from and all public areas are kept spotless!

I have stayed at the RIU hotels and resorts in 4 countries and it was a first for me to be disappointed. Although there were some lovely customer service the service overall was very hit and miss. Some staff acknowledged me making sure I was seated and drinks were offered at meals but majority didn't. As a regular solo traveller that pays more to be in luxury hotels such as this, it was disappointing that I wasnt treated the same as the other guests that were couples and families. Beautiful location, lots of things to do for everyone

I had so much fun at the hotel. It was just amazing. First time in Morocco and the hotel was just great. The food was exceptional. A lot of options very healthy very clean. The pool was amazing the staff just great thank you.

Food poisoning!!

Spending your holiday in bed with projectile vomiting is no one’s idea of a good holiday! The food was just all around awful. Nothing about this hotel is 5*. Drinks are watered down rubbish, food poor standard, service pretty much non existent. I just can’t believe this can be classed as. 5* hotel The only good thing about this hotel is what you see on TikTok- a nice pool setting! Obviously the key thing that ruined our trip was the food poisoning- I can see previous reviews mentioning this but obviously we all hope it never happens to us but it’s clearly an issue with this hotel

We had a memorable stay at the resort recently. The rooms, staff, and facilities were to standard and well maintained. The staff were helpful to our child's dietary requirements and timings. I want to callout a few people, Soufiyane (F&B Manager), Mariam, Zainab (main restaurant), Ahmed (Chef) for making sure our son was well fed. We were very pleased with the common areas (pools, bars & common areas) the range of activities for adults and kids.

An excellent family holiday destination

An excellent stay which was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family- 2 teens and 2 adults. Loubna at reception was very helpful as was everyone else working at the hotel. The food was amazing and a good variety every day. Entertainment was very good. The heated main pool was enjoyed by all although the infinity pool wasn’t heated! Access to beach was very good as security just checked your wristband and just the other side of a wide footpath. We will definitely return in the near future. Only thing was we had to wait 2 days for an iron after over a dozen !!

Beautiful property with hard working and helpful staff. Great pool area, made up of multiple pools, only one of which was heated but it was enough. All inclusive was good considering the size of the property and large number of people to cater for. Drinks were limited to those in the all inclusive menu and cocktail quality not always very premium but allowed the staff to cater for the large demand without slowing the service. Property on a sandy beach, great waves/swimming and some local agents selling reasonably priced surfing/watersports and camel rides etc.

The property is very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful to take pictures however the facilities and catering are much more 3*/4* level. I did 4 nights and that was more than enough, the food options are limited and repetitive. Our room was a good size however had to complain about ants and dirty bed sheets. No iron or steamer is provided. The swimming pools are clean however only one is heated. It was OK for a short break but I wouldn’t be visiting again.

Beautiful hotel with cost cutting issues

The hotel grounds and communal areas are beautiful. the vast majority of staff are friendly and helpful although a couple of people could do with retraining. Food was poor with obvious signs of cost cutting - at one evening buffet there was no meat available for considerable time due to limited options. It is not true 24 hour as from 10pm to 7.30am there is no food available.

We really enjoyed our stay as a couple with a 4 month old baby. All the staff welcomed our son so warmly and really looked after us. We’d been assigned a ground floor room on arrival which we didn’t feel was suitable for us as we wanted the patio doors open at night for air flow so we were kindly moved. The buffets are brilliant with a great selection to suit all preferences and dietary requirements. The restaurants were ok but were essentially the same as the buffet and I found them restrictive as a vegan (Musk & Krystal). We didn’t manage to try the steak restaurant as it oddly wasn’t open whilst we were there. The hotel could have more toilets near the pool area and the beach area could be made more inviting as some of the other hotel beaches looks much nicer in comparison.

I had an amazing time staying here for my birthday. They went all out and made the trip very special. The staff are AMAZING!! Everyone was willing to help if we had any questions and made sure we all had a good trip and an enjoyable time. The room was spacious and clean. The food in the buffet was great but I would advise booking the restaurants in advance as they fill up quick. My partner wasn’t feeling well and we were able to have the medication delivered to us at the hotel. Grate service overall. There’s a cash machine and money exchange on site. They have everything you need. We went jet skiing on the beach and although they are not connected to the hotel they also gave us 5* treatment. 10/10 would recommend and im planning on going back in the future.
