"What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Tahoe Vista? Went for a weekday getaway during shoulder season and found ourselves in one of the most special places we could imagine. The house is cozy, well appointed, comfortable and easy…and the backyard view and waterfront are simply breathtaking. We got lucky that the weather cooperated and we had a beautiful, relaxing time. We can’t recommend this house enough (but also don’t want it to get too popular) and are feeling like this may be a yearly booking for as long as we can swing it."

"The house is incredible. The view from the balcony is stunning. Beach space right across the street. Cozy blankets and pillows on the beds. The dark gray couch has seen better days. It's pretty lumpy and you can hear springs creak when you sit down. The primary bedroom bed fram needs help. We had to rebuild the wood under the frame because it had fallen and the bed was sagging. My biggest issue was the hot water heater was faulty and I called every day we were there to report it. They sent out 3 people and only the last one knew how to work on that machine and ordered a new part but we left before a repair happened. It would throw an F18 error code and we would have to reset it. We would either have freezing water or scalding water. I was disappointed that we received a refund that was 6 percent of what we paid for the stay due to that and the fridge compression making an awful noise. The Wolf stove is awesome but not all the burners work and it's on a tilt. Shuffle board needs to be waxed because even with a fresh coat of sand it has a ton of dead spots. We would recommend taller chairs for the patio because there's a spectacular view but the chairs are so short you can't see over the railing if you're seated. We loved the amply amount of towels and bathrooms. Overall it's a great house it just needs a few things. I totally understand things break and need repair, I just feel it's fair to better compensate when that happens."

"We had an amazing time and this condo is the perfect location. Easily walkable to everything in Kings Beach and still quiet so you don’t hear any road noise/traffic. There is so much space in the condo and everyone can have their own floor and bathroom without being cramped. We loved having the 3 levels of decks. The main level deck is glassed in which was perfect to enjoy the views but not be too cold and avoid the winds on windy days. We will definitely be back!!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily come back!Michelle was incredibly helpful from the very beginning — she called us shortly after we completed the booking to make sure everything was in order. We stayed for three nights at the end of September 2026, and the house was even more beautiful and picturesque in person than it looked in the photos.The house was spotless and extremely well equipped. There was plenty of coffee and pods (even though we brought our own), a kettle, and what felt like a million towels! The hot tub was already warm and ready to use when we arrived. The deck was fantastic, with the hot tub, a table with an umbrella, chairs, and lounge chairs — everything we could possibly need to enjoy the view.And the view is truly incredible. The window offers an amazing panorama, and having our own private pier was such a special touch. Safeway is literally a minute away, which was incredibly convenient.The Wi-Fi was a little inconsistent, but our cell service worked well enough that it wasn’t an issue for us. We enjoyed walking along the shoreline and along the road on this side of the house. We also saw signs of the local wildlife, but thankfully the bears did not bother us at all. Everything was clean, comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would absolutely recommend this place!"
