"Small rooms
No hot water in the bathroom due to boiler failure, but was taken care of.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in the room would make it more comfortable."
"Beautiful location. Very cheap accommodations. Not as advertised. Rooms were terrible. Bathrooms were clogged and no one could fix them. Food was bad. It’s like management has given up on the place. I would visit for a day but not spend the night. We paid $360 EUROS for this place and I feel so ripped Off!! "
"The little village of Agyroupolis where Arcus is located is very quiet and charming. It got a great local feel of Greek countryside and many friendly locals, well used to tourists dropping by, to see the historical places they offer.
Arcus I located a couple of minutes from the main square, easy to get to by car or feet. It’s a bunch of old houses, surrounded by a very green and exotic inner garden with a little pool. Our room was located at the 1st floor level, with a beautiful view to the...

"overall, we were happy with this place. the taverna at the end of the drive (also owns the villas) was really great, and we went there most nights. very good food, friendly staff. the local area was very nice, with great coffee shops and very friendly, helpful people. The villa itself is a little tired, with the downstairs shower super difficult to use because the fixture couldn't hold the shower head in place, and a broken toilet seat upstairs (which was immediately fixed). But the A/C worked and the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed it. you definitely need a car for this location, if that was something you were considering."
"Valantis and staff couldn't be kinder and helped me when my husband had a fall. It is a lovely property with amazing views.
Lighting in the kitchen/living room could be improved. Bathroom fittings are a little tired but I blame previous guests, not the management!"
"I had a lovely stay here and would come again. I will say that while the property is clean and the staff take care of it, it does need a little lick of paint here and there but overall it is a beautiful location and a true place to relax and recoup. I was disappointed that there wasn't yoga classes as posted, but I was able to book a private class with a teacher, who was great. Booked with their masseuse a few times as she was WONDERFUL (Rose if I remember rightly)
Handy swimming pool right outside my room (salt). And a little general store on site which after realizing that Plakias is a 15min drive away, was good to have on hand.
Scuba diving in the cove was gorgeous and there was a little spot you could jump straight into the ocean near the main pool. The cove is not the beach however, the walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and up some very steep stairs. The view is amazing, but I'd recommend wearing solid walking shoes as there is loose gravel/rocks and the drop to the ocean is sheer.
The entertainment was mediocre to be honest, and the location would benefit from a karaoke night in my opinion. All-inclusive does not include all drinks, beer and wine only. But the food was decent enough to not bother going into the town except for a treat.
Great nudist beach nearby in Plakias, with regular beach down the road. Lovely little town. "
