"Our family of seven adults had a wonderful time and the house was great. The hosts were very welcoming and kept in constant communication. They took care of all our needs and made for a very pleasant experience! The view has been altered by the construction next door, but the house and the island were well worth the trip! The weather was not too hot, everyone was very friendly, and we were able to have a relaxing time."

"Owners met us at the property, even though it was late, 10pm. They showed us everything and then even gave us a lift to the local taverna to get something to eat. Rita and Paul have been excellent hosts, friendly and generous. They gave us fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast. The apartment is lovely and has everything you will need, although we didn't cook much as there is a very friendly taverna and lovely pizza place within a few minutes walk. The local village is a walk uphill, if you don't have a car, but it has a well stocked supermarket and plenty of coffee bars and tavernas. Bibas, the local taxi driver, is great for trips to nearby beaches. All the locals are very friendly. Expect lots of raki after every meal.WiFi in the apartment is good outside and by the pool and can be patchy inside. Cannot thank Rita and Paul enough for our fabulous stay. What lovely people. "

"An amazing spot for the ultimate relaxing holiday. Apartment has everything needed for a relaxing getaway and the pool was an added bonus on the hotter days. The drive up can be a little daunting at first but it is absolutely worth it when you reach the terrace with views over the hills and mountains. The perfect spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. We would definitely come back to this beautiful place again :)"

"We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated house nestled in a peaceful valley in the Mesara Plain. Surrounded by orange groves and with the majestic Psiloritis mountains in the distance, it truly felt like a hidden gem.The house is very comfortable and clean, has everything you need, with tasteful design touches like stone arches that echo the heritage of old Greek architecture. It’s located right at the edge of a small, authentic village, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the center where we found cozy cafés and some amazing local tavernas.The beach is only a short drive away, but we loved how serene and quiet the area was—ideal for a couple's getaway. The nearby old church adds a peaceful, timeless feel to the whole setting. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—relaxing, beautiful, and full of authentic Cretan atmosphere.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic escape or a quiet retreat in southern Crete!"
