"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Had a wonderful time at José's property. It was exactly as advertised. Quiet area, beautiful views, and your own personal waterfall. Beach just a few minutes walk, and centrally located to the entire island. Having a washing machine came in handy, and the outdoor shower was perfect. Parking on the steep hill with a stick shift can be a little bit exciting but outside of that everything was a breeze. Would definitely stay again."

"Tout était au top dans cet appartement : grand séjour, grande salle de bain avec WC, excellent emplacement central près des commerces avec jolie vue sur l'église derrière. Les deux petits balcons sont très agréables et le voisinage très calme. José nous a très bien accueillis et donné d'excellents conseil. Il parle très bien anglais ce qui nous a facilité la communication. Le départ très tôt le matin était très facile car on peut claquer la porte et laisser les clés à l'intérieur."

"Church House was perfect for me and my three teen grandsons to explore Sao Miguel. There was plenty of room to spread out, inside and outside. "We thoroughly loved our week stay here. Everything on the island was in easy access and a short 1.5 km walk you were in the centre of Ribeiro Grande. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. "The space worked perfectly for my husband and me; easy walk to the center of town, great view, easy parking. The building felt safe and secure, and the a/c was important, but a little hard to direct towards the bedroom. The man who checked us in was lovely, but the process would be a little smoother if you didn’t have to meet with a person to get in, as we didn’t have cell service, so we were unaware of changes to the plan and unable to contact him about our schedule, as well."
