Located between Hamburg and Bremen, on the Stader Geest in Ahlerstedt, is this south-facing, bright, and spacious artist’s apartment. The holiday rental at “Lemmermanns Hoff” is on the ground floor and is part of a modernised courtyard complex. The 106-square-meter space features a large living room with a sleeper sofa, a bedroom with a double bed, and a large kitchen with a spacious utility room, as well as a ground-floor shower room.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. Laundry can be washed and dried for a small fee, and bicycle rentals are also available. Wi-Fi and a TV are provided.

The natural garden, with its mature trees, offers—in addition to the private terrace—plenty of nooks for reading and lounging, with both shady and sunny spots. The property also features numerous plants, some of which are rare, waiting to be discovered. Deer, geese, and birds are frequent visitors, and the property is surrounded on three sides by farmland. Upon request, we can provide books, art supplies, and artistic tips for quiet days.
We can also host small, casual family celebrations and other gatherings; we can seat up to 15 guests at our tables. We’ll discuss the details in person.

Ideal for cyclists, pilgrims on the Way of St. James, or a peaceful getaway in the countryside. Hamburg and Bremen, with all their sights and cultural events, are about 60 km away; nearby are the Harsefeld Monastery, the Tister Bauernmoor with its cranes, the rivers Aue, Oste, Este, and Elbe, the Hanseatic cities of Stade and Buxtehude with the Altes Land, and Teufelsmoor and the North Sea are also not far away. In the surrounding area, you can explore the Auetal valley or the Braken floodplain forest, go hiking, or take long bike rides.
Across the way is a bike park—not just for kids—but you’ll need a mountain bike; otherwise, it’s best to stick to the beginner’s loop.

In the summer, the garden is perfect for listening to the loud chorus of frogs, watching shooting stars, and sitting by the campfire.
