Clean rooms and available facilities. Changing facilities at end of stay were fantastic. Food was lovely and the availability and choice was really good. Sauté was our favourite of the speciality restaurants.

The hotel rooms and facilities were well kept. The food was good, even though the variety could be wider. Local draft beer that is served in the resort was good and I'm a beer person. The personnel was beyond friendly and very helpful. The down side is the beach and the water. The waves were so strong that the sweeming was out of the questions (((

RIU was excellent in service and being an all inclusive, we didn't need to leave the property! Many choices on the menu to keep you there both for food and drinks. Lots of entertainment and activities throughout the day so never a dull moment. Would definitely recommend going with a group to make full use of the unlimited cocktails and beers. Has a kids club and kids pool too which keeps them occupied.

The property was clean and the service was excellent. Special mention to the head chef and staff at dining. The food was excellent at or above international standards. We liked the stuff and services. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Rooms were perfectly clean. Food was tasty and the drinks were good. In front of the hotel you can find some Tuk Tuks to visit ambient locations. For rainy days you can also use the indoor jacuzzis and steam bath.

Fantastic beach. This hotel is the worst riu I’ve been at. We didn’t sleep at all due to the barking dogs in the street. The restaurants called a la carte at actually buffets as well and were limited in their operation. The staff was courteous and kind. The cleaning was done well. The location too close to a main road is a serious problem here through

I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Positive: * Staff was very professional and very attentive. * Place was big with lots of activities * Food was good. Buffets have a lot of choice. * service was excellent * clean rooms Negative: * resort was way overcrowded. *Adult pool was overcrowded and dirty. * Pool had 80% men staring at us the whole time * People swimming in pool with regular cloths on. * drinks and cocktails selection are limited with them being watered down. * no bathroom or bed room amenities. * beach access no life guard and when you step on to the beach you get harrased by locals. Overall it will be a great place if they only allow people who stay overnight and not allow anyone on day pass. Cost of everything is a bit too high for resorts in Sri lanka.

The accommodation is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is good. This hotel isn’t 5 star though. If you are looking for 5 star luxury the Riu doesn’t have it

Everything was nice except it was Buddha Purnima and hotel didn’t inform us before that they wouldn’t serve alcohol that day we came to know after the check in

Lovely and clean but absolutely soulless. Stupid staff dressed up in childish costumes jumping on guests sunbathing on sun beds. Cheap limited choice of cocktails. We would never go back.
