Must Stay!
Absolutely loved this place. Off the main road, down into a very quiet location. Onsite Innkeeper was super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to entrance of Yosemite (15 mins).

We loved our stay at Inn the Woods. The unit, Sentinel Dome was perfect for our postnuptial vacation. If ever in the area again, we would for sure rent in the future. The hostess was full of useful information around Yosemite national Park, we loved the small patio with grill, and the cleanliness of the unit was wonderful.

Great secluded place with lots of extras
Great place. The location is secluded and very quiet. The room was very nicely decorated, with many thoughtful details. The owners/managers were very responsive and offered many helpful tips. They even had hiking poles which we could borrow for our hikes in Yosemite. Within a ten minute drive, there are a number of restaurant choices. Breakfast is fruit and Danishes/muffins - if you want a hot breakfast you can use the mircowave. There's also a BBQ and game room (man cave) with many activities.

Our stay at Inn The Woods Suites near Yosemite National Park exceeded my expectations. The innkeeper Kathy greeted us and spent considerable time telling us about the area, answering questions and making recommendations. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The furnishings were top notch and the fruit, muffins, snacks and coffee in the room were appreciated. We were able to use the microwave on the property to heat up some leftover carryout which saved us a meal. It was quiet and comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us. We would definitely return.

We had an absolute perfect stay! From the special and delicious gluten free muffins put in our room to the seamless check in process, the Gorgeous and expansive clean mist suite ,to the hospitality by our host with personal texts! We felt like home instantly and didn’t want to leave. My son loved the kitty cat who walks around and the game room w/ board games and dvds and we will be back again in future!!

We enjoyed our trip to Inn the Woods. Kathy is a friendly and accommodating innkeeper who was knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. I highly recommend!

Like - faraway from hustle and bustle , among the nature, very quiet, family friendly. Didnt like - too far from Yosemite, minimum of 1and half-two hourse drive, no hot breakfast.

Super friendly staff. Very easy check in. Room was very clean. Loved Harry the property cat. Spacious room. Very high ceilings/large doors. Everything that was needed was in the kitchen area to BBQ and cook meals. Great air conditioner for the warm days. Loved the size of the shower. Excited to come and visit again and try the room with large bath tub! Employee was very helpful and knowledgeable of Yosemite park and gave us a lot if helpful tips.

We absolutely loved staying here! The place was beautiful and safe! Our kids loved the playroom with games and even movies to borrow. The deck was amazing! After days of traveling and eating out it was so wonderful to grill some chicken on the grill and eat on the deck. There is no full oven but they do have a full fridge and toaster oven. Grab and go breakfast was provided in our room with fruits, muffins, pastries, granola bars, and juice in the fridge. The notes that were provided about visiting Yosemite were so helpful. Definitely our favorite place we stayed on this trip.

Gem near Yosemite.
Arrived after long drive from Vegas and this place was just what we needed. The accommodation was first class and very clean. The host was very welcoming and answered any questions we had about the accommodation and visiting Yosemite. We enjoyed the evenings just sat on the balcony enjoying the solitude of the area. If ever in the area again we would not hesitate in staying here again.

Visit ro Mariposa grove.
Can't rave about this place too much it's a fantastic place to stay. We wished we were staying longer as was amazing. Karen who booked us in was lovely as well. Had all the amenities and more. Even had little breakfast bit's for us. The coffee was amazing. Shower fantastic give everything 10 out of 10 . And with it being so hot the bonus was lovely air con and ceiling fan's. Had a deer come and say hello in garden. Would 100% stay here again.

The place was beautiful and well kept. The staff was so welcoming and able to help with any requests. They also have a large garage area converted into a games room and BBQs that you are free to use. The price was also really good as it was cheaper than normal hotels but felt more like a home.

The property is very nice, cute, almost like having a studio apartment. Karen was so nice and accommodating for our 10:30pm check in. My issue with the staff, we came back from a day of hiking only to find our front door was left wide open from the housekeeper. I did call to report it. They call it a refresh, basically just made the bed and took the trash. Positive they hung up the same towels we used they smelled stale the day we arrived. The bed and pillows were just ok. The little continental breakfast was cute and coffee in the room, very thoughtful. The toiletries they supply are good name brand, not the cheap little ones you would get at a hotel. Overall I would stay here again, just a few small things to improve. Karen, thank you for your hospitality and how kind you were. There is nothing to do in the area, so if that is your expectation-you will need to drive at least 8 miles for a store.

Stayed here with my 17 year old son. We loved it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms was large, clean and nice. It’s a little over an hour to Yosemite Valley but the drive is beautiful and goes fast. I highly recommend this property

Our family of 4 loved this place! 10/10 Stars all around! About 10 minutes from the grocery stores, restaurants and Starbucks for my wife. The property was SUPER clean and had plenty of space, views, amenities. The game room was a nice touch and wish we had the time to utilize it. We were in the Panorama Trail suite which was awesome for many reasons… the soaker tub, large shower were great. The blackout shades for the days you want to sleep in we’re absolutely fantastic. The propane BBQ grill was a great feature. My only regret was having to check out and go back to reality! I hope we are able to catch this place still available when we come back to Yosemite.

What can I say about this lodge?? Wow, Wow, Wow, Truly unbelievable!!! This place was immaculate, comfortable and better than home! The architecture, the furniture and everything is overdone! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, seriously everything is a 10!!! They provided us with breakfast goodies for our two day stay, the Internet was fast and my wife and and family will only stay here from now on! This was our very first trip to Yosemite, it is perfectly located and the owners are super friendly and accommodating and hands down so much better then staying in a hotel!!!

The innkeepers put a lot of effort and love into this place. From the family-friendly activities to the cleanliness and down-home charm of the place, we had a blast staying here on our recent Yosemite stay. Don't let the distance from Yosemite scare you! The drive in flew by, and the local community near the Inn was welcoming with tons of food options (all recommended by our innkeeper Sherrilyn). Would definitely stay here again.

This property was everything and more. It is homey, the attention to detail that the owner put into this place really shows in the decor and layout. Ku husband and I really enjoyed the ability to bbq, the kids really enjoyed the game room, and we all enjoyed the fire pit. We loved our stay so much we already booked our spring trip to stay here. We stay in the Panorma Trail Suite, it is spacious, clean and perfect for big families.

Inn the woods.
Chose this hotel because of the recommendation and great review and it did not disappoint. The room was huge compared to any hotel I've been. The drive to Yosemite was pretty far from the location but it's worth it when you're back to your room. The inn is 30 minutes away from the Southgate entry of Yosemite but another hour just to get to the Yosemite village to park your vehicle. Overall in the end of the day it's a nice inn to come home to from a long day of hiking... quiet, secluded, and a place to relax.

It was the nicest remote suite I have ever stayed at. There was a parking spot for each of the 3 suites. Unfortunately, the last couple of days, 2 SUV carloads of noisy foreigners moved in to the suite next door and occupied 2 of the 3 parking spots.
