Great property, close to Yosemite and bass lake. It was perfect for our family of 4.

We were looking for a place that gave our family of 4 enough space, That allowed us to prepare some food and was close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. This met all of those requirements. The owners have taken extra care to think about little things that make staying somewhere easier. The common room is warm and welcoming with an extensive movie collection and there is a great view off the back deck. There is not a stove top in the unit but the grill is very well kept and easy to use. The weather was beautiful so we ate outside every night. There is an outside common area that is a lovely place to have a glass of wine or play a game. The property is also about 10 mins from Oakhurst where there are restaurants and grocery stores.

The Rose Suite

I booked the Rose Suite for a couple of nights. Some friends and I were on a motorcycle trip to Yosemite. The place was awesome! It was very easy to find and check in was simple...show up and enter the code. The suite was clean and is what we expected. There are several other suites at the location but the property was very quiet and peaceful. Some nice bucks came through in the evening to say hello, and over night a bear paid a visit. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfort in the wilderness

A small unit with two upstairs bedrooms and kitchen/living room/bath downstairs. We were extremely comfortable and loved the fans, the decor and the surrounding nature. Easy access to Yosemite entrance and close to shops and restaurants. We loved our 2 night stay.

Awesome experience

This is a great place for a family vacation. Our family will most definitely consider staying here in the future. Communication with the owners was great and information about the property was easily accessible and visible in the building. I really appreciated all the thoughtfulness into making our stay very comfortable, from the DVD's provided to the different kitchen and bathroom supplies. Only issues is that there is no stove inside the kitchen, but an outdoors grill is provided. This ended up being great for us since it forced us to spend more time in the outdoors. Walls are thin but this was not an issue since the people next door were quiet. Also, a white sound machine is provided in the rooms and they have a strict policy of not being loud at night and the owners are available for any complains. Overall we had a great time and definitely recommend it!

Great stay for Yosemite trip

First timers from Midwest

This suite (called Rose) is part of a larger building of 6-8 units. Parking is close and luggage hauling is easy. No problem with check-in or out. Outside grounds include places to sit/socialize, cook-out, or go for a stroll across a bridge and into the woods. Inside worked hard to keep out the 95+ degree heat (window unit, fans on high most of the time), but remained comfortable. Wifi and Roku if you want to hang out there for a while. Instructions and little laminated notes throughout the place were helpful for finding local restaurants & things to do at Yosemite. ~4 minutes to Ahwahnee restaurant/gas/convenience store , ~12 to town of Oakhurst, ~45 to Yosemite entrance (in summer, if no delays).

Yosemite Family Vacation

We had a great stay at the Sierra Mountain Lodge. It’s proximity to a town with any amenities we wanted, paired with it’s beautiful location made this a lovely trip. I appreciated the guide book provided which suggested restaurants and points of interest for our stay. The property was quiet and cute, and the check in and check out process were a breeze. I appreciated having 2 bedrooms so we could spread out a bit, but the place was small enough to keep us all together. Over all, we had a wonderful time.

all the charm of a quaint old school cottage. part of a group of cottages. quiet,rural area. 45min from soutgern entrance of yosemite. all the essentials for most time spent outdoors. (no oven or stovetop) -3/4 kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and outdoor grilling setup. outdoor seating with whimsicle garden accents. enjoyed mornings and evenings around the yard comfy beds and great showerhead/water pressure! window ac a little loud and difficult to adjust temp however easily remedied by open window or a long sleeve shirt. would return

Great Yosemite NP resting place!

Loved the property including the landscaping--roses were gorgeous! We were not expecting Roku but that was a plus for my sons and provided a great winddown for the day. No issues with the property and would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous, magical, comfy

We really picked the right place. We were cordially greeted in the parking lot and followed to our suite by the lodge’s 20 year-old feline host, Sasha. We loved the magical garden strung with lights, and overflowing with Wisteria, Lilac, and a lovely, lacy flowering bush I’d never seen. We enjoyed views of rolling forested foothills from the deck. The suite was comfy and had all we needed. Great jumping off spot for a Yosemite trip, or destination for a restful getaway.
