"Perfect host who went above and beyond to provide us with a fun filled vacation with a great location. This apartment was clean, had everything for our stay, and a comfortable location and near walking distance to everything. Our host was very responsive to our many questions and even provided us with a great driver for day trips. "After a short taxi ride arranged by the owners, we were met by our charming local host, Laurence who, with the help of a porter led us through the myriad back alleys of the medina to a lovely house. The next day a young woman prepared us breakfast, and when we asked, a yummy dinner. Other than the initially off-putting state and smells of the area which one gets used to very quickly, it was a great stay. Manyn thanks especially to Laurence."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very well maintained and comfortable. The staff is also very helpful and kind. Everyone we spoke to was very professional and always ready to assist. We tried two restaurants. The Spanish restaurant and French restaurant. Both were delicious with attentive waiters. When we first checked in the bathroom floors had not been cleaned and we found stains on our bed sheets, when we told the front desk, they took care of it right away. Second, our laundry was not returned until we asked, but again when we told front desk, they were very apologetic and brought it right away. Last, we got a call the morning we were leaving saying a taxi picked up a friend of ours from the airport, however, we ordered a taxi to the train station that morning, again this was sorted out but definitely some back and forth with a few things at the hotel. Overall, good experience and helpful staff. "

"Large room with private bath, best continental breakfast ever. Clean room and quiet. Great location, close to the blue gate. Mohammed took me to a great leather shop with much better prices than the tannery. He also showed me an awesome restaurant at the end of the alley with great kabobs and couscous. I will stay there again when I visit Fez again."

"The hotel is well situated along a wide boulevard with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. in the area. The room was very nice and had a great view. What I liked was that it was across the street from a shopping mall that had everything that I needed - from dining, shopping, etc. There is also a McDonalds across the street. The staff was courteous and kind. Transportation is very accessible being along a busy boulevard. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"Riad Mazar Fes is an oasis of calm and incredible beauty. The owner Hamid and staff were so kind and welcoming, giving us a tour of the exquisite palace (that’s honestly what it feels like) upon arrival, serving us delicious mint tea and breakfasts, and making helpful recommendations. We also dined in the Riad our first night and it was the best meal we’d had in Morocco. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and quiet and every bit as beautifully, intricately decorated as the courtyards. We loved waking up in the mornings to the gentle sounds of water in the fountain in the courtyard below. I don’t know if the photos of this place could ever do justice to how beautiful it is. Thank you to everyone at Riad Mazar for your genuine kindness and hospitality. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
