"Awesome hosts, private setting, convenient location, everything you couls possibly need. If you like any of these things with the places you stay, then Volcano Home is the place for you. Joshua and Geneva made sure we were able to get situated fine as well as took the time to give us an excellent rundown on all that was available to do. Such great personalities. Staying at this house really was like being invited to a close relatives house who provides everything and then goes on vacation leaving the place cleaned up and ready for you. Of we had an extra day we would have just had a day where we hung around the house. It really is that great. If we make it back to Big Island the ln we will be staying here again and of course recommending to anyone else we find out is going there."

"The home is beautiful and Anita left the lights on for us which was great because we came in late. The fireplace is perfect for a cozy night and the heated blankets were welcoming "

"This lovely secluded rain forest cabin is wonderfully private, very close to the park, and the owners are extremely responsive (by text). They provide coffee and bottled water (although the filtered rain water is fine too). Note that it’s a pretty big place so takes a bit to warm up on cold wet days, but worth it!"

"Hapuu room is a magical and very cozy spot with an intimate view into giant ferns and forest. The other guests in adjacent cabinswere very charming. We were all checking in at dark in heavy rain — note, the driveway is dark driveway and coming from Hilo and Jade Street, it is technically the second last on the right from the Ruby Street end of Second Street (the last driveway is a yard) — we were bumbling around but eventually took a dive and walked down into the dark and it was the right place — a beautiful spot. "
