"The building is an authentic ottoman era reconstruction. My only negative comment would be that it was a bit difficult to arrive by taxi as it is right inside the castle wall. The manager arranged for a car to take us to the airport at 7:30 AM, which was a lifesaver."

"All the staff where wonderful particularly Betül and Emra. The rooms where nice, very clean with comfortable beds. The only negative was the music in the evening, coming from the bar next door."
"Anka City is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees. It is close enough to the major sites to take a taxi, but I suggest having a car. We had a car so it was no trouble that it was a little further out. Plus, it was super easy to park on the street. (For reference, the Anitkabir is a 25-minute walk.)

However it was very small and the bathroom was small as well we could barely move inside.Breakfast also was poor but the staff of the kitchen was also very nice"

Like most hotels, in the shower areas- the corners have built up moldy spots... but nothing more than other hotels. Breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful and kind. "The property is nice and clean, but the daily cleaning lacked attention. For example, you had to ask for a bar of soap or roll of toilet paper otherwise, non would be left by the staff. The managment is trying to save by all means which is a pitty for such an establishment."

"We stayed in the suit room as a family. Beautiful, clean, comfortable room. Good views, and the best bathroom we have had in a hotel with a specious jacuzzi. Location is great with restaurants and a shopping centre. At your doorstep. We enjoyed the breakfast, but as more of a business hotel, perhaps the choice was a bit more limited for kids. Pool is good, small but hi enough. No child pool though if this is a consideration for you. Great service and staff. Overall an excellent stay and one we would return to "
