"Wonderful little property in a cute peaceful true Greek town right on the bay. Owners of hotel Galaxidi were warm and welcoming. Room was clean with air, a precious balcony overlooking town and a homemade breakfast to die for at a price that was hard to beat. They even gave us a jar of homemade jam as a parting gift. And there was parking right out front. Fantastic dining at Steki’s on the water and a delightful walk around town. It was the true feeling of Greece. "

"Nice hotel by the beach/ water in Xylokastro, with many restaurants and bars along the beach promenade. Very friendly staff. Everything was fine except that doors/ locks are noisy when you close/ open the doors, and the isolation between rooms are bad (like most hotels). Since it was low season with few guest, the noise mentioned above was no problem for us at night. Evening was very quiet."

"Great boutique hotel directly across the road from the beach. Walking distance to everything you need including cafes and dining options and local shopping. Private parking available which was very handy. Rooms are neat and efficient but had everything we requried or a 2 night stay. The hotel staff were great and breakfast is so peaceful sitting in the outdoor courtyard each morning. Will stay again on our next trip to Xylokastro."

"Hotel's common areas are incredibly wonderful! A unique "handmade" hotel with everything you need: Spa services ( i"ll book in advance next time), a beautiful restaurant area and a nice pool. "This property was stunning, from the location to the rooms. I stayed in late April so there wasn't many tourist and it was so nice and quiet, you could really enjoy the sound of nature. Adding this that you have your own fireplace in the room and they have it all set up just for you to light it on was the perfect touch. I would definitely stay again when I come back. "

"My husband and I met our 20 yr old daughter here when she was on break for her study abroad semester. When I booked the trip I had no idea where to go in Greece, was just looking for somewhere to relax and spend time together. Couldn’t have been happier with accommodations, indeed the fridge had breakfast and snack foods as other reviewers mentioned. The apartment was very clean and the front balcony was fantastic, especially for sunrise. Hosts were extremely helpful with anything we asked about...

"Nice appartment by the sea in an old house. The balcony is just on the beach so that you can relax listening to the sea clapotis any time (for example at breakfast :))... While the sea is not always accessible just in front of the appartment, you can just go 100 m away. Very convenient !!!"
