The power outage has been all over town. But in 3 seconds the electricity comes back. Because we have generator.

One staff member spoke English and was very helpful. The layout of the room doesn't make much sense and the area is super loud with lots of clubs and mosques but there is a balcony which I used often and it was very inexpensive on Expedia vs the listed rate at the property.

Disgraceful
Had 3 days booked....checked out after the first night. Room was virtually inhabitable. I had to put towels on the bed as I slept (loose term) as t was so dirty. Bathroom a disgrace with a noisy extractor fan keeping us both awake most of the night. On checkout the reception advised that they would have changed my room....my thought was, why not put me in a decent room to begin with?

Receptionist(emre) never stays at the front desk. His colleagues had to cover his role. He is arrogant but not against to single beautiful ladies. almost all of male employees annoy women and girls in the hotel. Unfortunately that's classic scenario in Turkish turizm industry. There is no difference in here. BTW thanks to Veli for everything.

Felt Like At Home
Oba Star Hotel was better than our expectations from 4 star Hotel. It was tidy, well designed, well planned Premise, not too big as size. But staff and management attitude for customer satisfaction was extraordinary. I would say one of the best trained personnel towards making the customers happy. Even my 77 years old mother has been very satisfied from top to down General Manager Mr Zafer, front office manager Mr. Emre and staff, floor services manager Mrs Gulsah and staff, restaurant manager Mr Serkan and all restsurant staff, all bar and beach staff, Turkish bath/Spa services staff they were all great. They have been trained not to say no as much as possible. Open buffets, Variety of foods, non-stop 24 hours food&drink, all inclusive service was great. Private hotel space at beach was just 2 minutes walk. Food/drink service at beach was very good idea. Room size were OK.There were some animation activities, not vert much but staff warmth and efforts were supporting them. Meditteranian sea was always blue, warm and clean. Pool was also nice, clean and comfy. We have extended our stay, and we were really happy to choose Oba Star as our place to stay.

In general the service in hotel is good, especially the food. However, room serving needs to better.

Evidently this hotel puts hotel.com customers into their “unremodeled building and the rooms are utterly disgusting dirty old and broken. After 2 nights in this horrible room I was able to get moved to a remodeled room that was a very nice 3 star to 3.5 star room. If I had been put into this room initially my review would be 4 stars. There’s lots of food at their buffets. Mostly Russian Clients I enjoyed the spa the most with a great massage therapist. I was told there is no way to request a remodeled room I told Hotels.com they should not use this hotel unless they guarantee the remodeled rooms.

Great hotel in Alanya
Located just off the main strip in oba, Oba star is a great hotel. The staff was very nice, especially Ali! The food was pretty decent, the kitchen manager always made sure everything was done right. The only complsiny i had was the sound system, it is really bad and sounds about 30 years old. There is only one pool but it's really nice.

Clean and nice hotel with very good food.
Very nice hotel en friendly staff. The food is different every day en is good. The snacks are good, Fries, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, onion rings, fruit and more. The posibilities of the beachbar with free snacks and free drinks are super nice. The distance to Alanya is round 15 minutes walk. The hotel is in a little city with nice shops. The people are less pushing so that is nice. We are a couple of 24-27 from the Nederlands and had a lot of fun en relaxed time in the hotel! I will recconize this hotel to friends and for more old people.

read the other reviews about this place, the only good things about this are the entrance and the pool, the rest is a joke, one of the absolute worst hotels I've been to, this is a 4/10 3 star hotel, I think they bought their 4 star on Wish , the food is horrible tastes like canned food from the store no taste , the bar is a joke there is only 1 type of beer red or white wine , and a premixed cocktail that tastes horrible , mentioned this to manger , shouldn't be working there really bad customer service advise you to choose another hotel, are you going to Alanya choose near cleopatra beach much better hotel higher standard near the center and nice good restaurants, the best thing about the whole hotel is the English guard who works there in the evenings very nice, the greedy managers should make sure to raise his salary for his friendliness

As we informed you about the situation, in case of leaving early or changing to another hotel, it is not giving you the right to a refund fee. But you told us that you will write bad reviews on the internet if we don't refund your money. We do not agree with anything that was written. The comment that you left is not about the hotel. Our hotel is an ultra all-inclusive concept, and we did not receive any complaints from our customers about any issues with food and local beverages quality.

En oväntat besvärlig
vår vistelse på detta hotell en besvikelse på alla sätt. Från den otrevliga personalen till det smutsiga och obekväma rummet, samt problem med störningar och dåligt läge. Jag kan inte rekommendera detta hotell till någon och kommer definitivt inte att återvända. Vi hade förväntat oss en trevlig och avkopplande vistelse, men istället fick vi en jobbig och frustrerande upplevelse. samma mat varje dag och om plats för att sola.

Hyggelige og hjelpsomme i spisesalen og ved bassenget Strandbar var dårlig . Stadig problem med heisen, renhold på rommet bestod av mopping av teppebelagt gulv. Ingen vasking på bad eller bord i selve rommet. Byttet håndklær og sengetøy hver dag. Hjelpen var hyggelig, men så ut til å ha et stort tidspress.

Fantastisk fint opphold. Veldig god mat døgnet rundt! Døgnåpen bar! Hyggelig personale, god service. Fint bassengområde med solstoler og behagelige sittegrupper. Rommene er ikke så store, men ok for et par ukers opphold. Kort avstand til stranda, Oba sentrum og busd til Alanya.

Skøn ferie
Dejligt ophold og super lækker mad. Skønt med Beach bar hvor man både kan få mad og drikke All inclusive. Er man ikke til strand skal man dog vide at der ikke er meget sol ved poolen

Tipptopp tommel opp!
Mat helt ok, service tipptopp. Utrolig småe rom. Om man er litt str på, kommer man seg ikke ut på balkong. Dette for at døren ikke kunne åpnes 90 grader, da den tok i skrivebord. Seng var vond å ligge i, som en gammel fjærmadrass. Renhold ok. For en liten uke, var dette helt greit:)

Wir haben das Hotel spontan gebucht. Für das war es ist toll gewesen. Das Essen war Klasse die Auswahl vor allem top! Es hat sich echt gelohnt. Können es nur weiterempfehlen.
