Awesome family trip

We went there to spend some quality time with our children and we really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and ping pong. We tried to fish but the thick algae made it difficult so that was the only thing we would've like to have done that we couldn't. The house is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking family meals. The decks and views were fabulous. We absolutely hope to return to This property when we can.

Great place for family & friends

17 of us with teens-toddlers and everyone had a great time. The basement is huge and the older kids loved it. Outside we played basketball, pickleball, volleyball, baseball, we fished, and we swam. We hope to go back.

This home has it all!

We absolutely loved this property!! So much in fact that we wish we could buy it lol! It has it all-so much home space/rooms/places to sleep, a lot of land, pool with slide, swing set, stocked pond for great fishing, game room downstairs, deck for entertaining! Even on the rainy days we still had plenty to do (dartboard, foosball, ping-pong, cornhole, basketball, cards, free WiFi (modem pw works best), etc). We plan on booking this place every year! It was perfect for us 3 families that stayed there! Miss it already! Owners are very very responsive, helpful & friendly!!

Fun vacation home

There were so many activities available right on the property, you wouldn’t have to leave. Swimming Pool, corn hole, ping pong table, foozeball, badminton, basketball and more.It is a great location Cumberland Lake is about a 10 minute drive and Dale Hollow Lake is also real close. Very very clean both inside and out.

Great family get away.

The property was clean and we had plenty of room. We had hot weather so the pool was great. Our family had a wonderful time. The listing shows 2 queen beds in the living room. I’m not sure if that is a mistake but there were no queen beds and the couch did not fold out. We still had plenty of room for our group. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place with pool and pond

We really enjoyed our long weekend here. With the pool, the pond, and all the things to do in the basement, we stayed on the property the whole weekend. There was everything we needed and expected. Be prepared for a lot of steps. Everything get’s packed in and up that long set of steps.

Stay was great. Wish we had more time to use all the amenities. Did have an issue with a chirpy smoke detector )it will just need a new battery and the internet was spotty. Overall great property.

"Framily" Vacation

We were college friends who are all grown up, who met here from different states to spend time together and catch up! Our kids were able to be kids, running around, playing loudly, and have separate rooms get great rest in. The adults could spend ample time together and keep an eye on the littles. There was plenty of room for all and gorgeous views! Thank you!

Peaceful property

This property was perfect! We live on a small 6 acre hobby farm so we are more comfortable with having space to ourselves vs a resort or hotel. The location of this place was perfect for our time on Dale Hollow Lake and convenient to get to from Mammoth Cave. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool the most. We loved having all of the recreational options that were provided and though the property can certainly hold a lot of people, it was just 5 of us, with plenty of space to not feel on top of each other.

Family holiday gathering

This property was ideal for our family Christmas gathering. We had 6 kiddos 1-6 and the space to run and play was great. The property was clean and the kitchen had all we needed to make family meals. There were lots of sleeping options and everyone was well accommodated. Communication and support from the host went above and beyond. This place was an excellent value. We’d love to return in the warm weather to utilize the pond and pool!

Holiday getaway with friends

We had four families sharing the house with 7 kids ranging in age from 5-10. There was so much to keep the kids busy, which we all loved. The kids especially loved the pool and fishing in the pond but they stayed busy in the basement as well. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need for cooking. There was plenty of parking and plenty of outdoor seating. There were plenty of linens and lots of extra blankets. We had a great time and would love to return again!

Awesome place!

My family of 12 stayed (7 adults, 4 teens, and a baby) there was something for everyone! Everything was clean and well set up. Plenty of kitchen items (plates, utensils, etc). Really the only recommendation I have for the property manager, is to list what is available on the listing description, because we ended up bringing stuff we didn't actually need it was so well stocked! Also, if you are trying to get family pictures when you visit, I highly recommend Whimsical Impressions (Nora Dishman)!

This place was perfect for our stay!

We had 4 trucks and boats in our group and there was plenty of parking for more if we needed. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 baths was ideal. There was more than enough for us to do when we weren't at the lake and the pond provided perfect "hook-set therapy" for the tough days on the water. Would definitely stay again if going to Dale Hollow or Cumberland lakes as its 8 mins from Wisdom or Wolf boat ramp on Dale Hollow and about 15 mins to Grinder on Cumberland. Everything was practically "new" in the house and beds were very comfortable.. Thanks for the great experience!!!

Beautiful but disappointing

The home is gorgeous and big enough for our whole family, the scenery and quiet were amazing. However, we weren't told the slide on the pool was broken, the grill didn't work and the pond was catch and release. We mainly rented out for the slide for the kids. Very disappointing!

Perfect!

Our family of 16 met up for a week together. The location was peaceful. The home provided lots of space and entertainment for the whole family. The fishing pond and pool was loved by young and old. There were plenty of beds, towels and linens. The kitchen was nicely stocked and spacious. We enjoyed visiting Alan York’s memorial park nearby. Thank you for allowing us an affordable and enjoyable vacation at your home! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! A few things that were not understood and listed on the Vrbo sight: need to bring your own towels for the pool; must provide your own wood for fire pit. We wished to grill, but the fuel tank was empty on the grill.

Great place for large families

We traveled here for Thanksgiving. It would have been amazing during the summer, but even so, this was a great vacation. The house was roomy with plenty of beds for sleeping. The downstairs basement/modified garage was perfect for the kids to hang out. The kitchen was well-stocked to make preparing meals enjoyable. There were also plenty of plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and silverware. I was concerned there wouldn't be much grocery shopping in the area, but several stores and some fast food were very close to the house. Again, we visited in the winter so there was less to do than in the summer, but we still enjoyed some hiking. The only complaint is that the fire alarms were extremely sensitive. They went off almost every time we cooked. One evening, they even picked up smoke from an outside bonfire in the farmer's field. We would definitely return!
