10 Day Poconos Adventure
I visited the Poconos with my wife, our two children (8 and 4 y.o), my father, and MIL/FIL. The house was a perfect base for all our adventures. Check in and getting passes at the entry gate was very easy. The house was clean, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated to give you that country cabin feel. Downstairs has sofa/TV, extra fridge, pool table, foosball, arcade and laundry/drier. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals including many herbs and spices. The deck is large and well maintained and a great place for your morning coffee, evening drink, or outdoor meal. Yard is large with play set, trampoline, footballs, frisbees to keep everyone entertained. The fire pit is a nice bonus. Some of the highlights from our trip include trout fishing, Crayola Experience /Easton visit, several hikes, kayaking, cycling the Lehigh River Gorge trail, tennis on the community courts, and visits to the pool and lakes on the IML property.

Great house!
House was exactly as listed. Everything was very clean. Decor was wonderful. Full game room in the basement, including an arcade machine that my 10 year old could not get enough of. Wonderful, large back deck. Would definitely stay again!

We loved this home so much!!!!! Our only complaint would be the pictures showed a hammock n there was none and we had to purchase toilet paper dish soap trash bags....but the host instantly responded and offered to send money .... But had a blast! Loved the deer and enjoyed ourselves so much!!! Thank u

Great Stay
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very nice and cleaned. It has a cabin feel to it which is perfect for near the lake. The deck is very nice, we loved hanging out there and we loved the fire pit as well. Our family’s favorite part of the was the game room, we spent a lot of time hanging out in that room. The house is close to a lot of the popular Pocono attractions. The owners put together a book that has locations to everywhere you may need while staying there. It has a list of the closest stores and attractions with QR codes to scan that bring up the address of each. I really only needed to contact the owner once during our stay, but he was very quick to respond. The only negative, which is not a big deal, but something to mention was getting registered in the community and getting in. We check in on a Friday night and it seemed like the time everyone else was arriving as well. It took almost half an hour to get through the gate, which was a little frustrating after being in the car for a long drive. But that in no way is something the owner can control and again not a deal breaker just something to be prepared for. A process improvement opportunity for the community itself, but definitely worth the stay once that’s out of the way.

This home is wonderfully decorated with real cabin feeling! Wonderful deck! Fun arcade basement! Loved the wildlife of deer and turkey visiting every day! Location perfect for easy drives to so many things like Baseball, parks, golf, train rides, water parks! The only complaint was the abundance of carpenter ants throughout.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location
We loved our stay at the Blue Owl Lodge! The house was beautiful, well equipped and perfect for families with kids. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The lodge is in a gated community, has great amenities. Our favorite part was relaxing at the lodge and being visited by the friendly deer! We hope to be able to stay at the lodge again in the future! Definitely recommend!

Long Weekend with Friends
We had a very nice weekend at Blue Owl Lodge. The kids very much enjoyed the game room and the parents enjoyed sitting by the fire. My only suggestion would be more lamps in the living room or dimmers on the overhead lighting. Overall a great cabin!

Great Labor Day Escape!
Had an excellent time at the house, everyone was commenting on how beautiful it was. Firepit was far enough away from the house and surrounded by trees, which gave it the private feel we were looking for! Eric was very responsive whenever we had a question, and the house was very clean. Also worth noting are the bathrooms in the house! Very modern amenities and beautifully decorated, the ladies who came with us all commented on how nice they were. Would definitely stay again!

Great getaway and escape from city life
We had great time at this beautiful and cozy wooden lodge, created some of the sweetest memories with kids. In the late mornings loved seeing them jump on the trampoline, hear them scream and laugh, while sitting on a cosy spacious deck and sipping on hot tea (compliments from the owner's kitchen). Early in the afternoon loved going to the community pool and then later in the day to the beautiful lake with swimming area and then conclude our day by going down to the basement play arcade, pool, games and then roast marshmallows in the fireplace. Thanks to the owner for always responding within minutes/seconds. Thanks for sharing this property with us!!

Beautiful property
We had an amazing time at this location. Between two pools, lakes, hiking trails and hitting the water parks, it’s save to say that the kids had an amazing time! Kids loved staying in the basement while the adults stayed upstairs. Phenomenal property. Eric was very attentive and responsive during our stay.

Family Mini Vacation
I stayed there with my husband, son,, parents, sister and niece and there was plenty of room. I had to reach out to Eric a couple of times for minor stuff and he was very responsive. The cabin was clean, comfy and very cozy. It had a great game room in the basement and I loved playing the arcade games.

Perfect Weekend
This home was absolutely amazing. Just the right size for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable which is rare at most rentals, the house was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The knives were even sharp! The game room is great, the guys shot pool all weekend. Overall a very comfortable home. It was easy to relax and unwind. Highly recommend this home.

Weekend getaway
We stayed for a long weekend in January. Lucky enough to get snow and son was able to play in the large back yard. The house had a nice game room to play games at night. Always great to disconnect and not be on screens, and this house was great for that!

Weekend with family
My family- wife, 2 adult sons, brother and sister-in-law- like to visit the Poconoes once a year or so for a family weekend. My brother and I have memories from our grandparents "mountain house" and our trips usually include visits to places from our youth. Evenings are spent cooking, eating, playing games and laughing. This past weekend was wonderful. The cabin was far bigger than we needed, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was beautiful and Eric was easy to reach to answer questions.

Why only four stars? What more could you possibly need from a host? QR scannable directions to grocery stores which you had asked for, as well as other points of interests and I got a propane tank delivered to the grill within an hour of you mentioning it was low. What more could A host have done to please you?

Great time had by all!
The Blue Owl Lodge more than met our expectations. The property is as beautiful as pictured and described. We were a group of 3 adults and 5 children ranging from 9 to 13 and the house and amenities had something for everyone. From the lovely large deck that the adults enjoyed relaxing on to the game room for the preteens to the trampoline and swing set for the younger ones. The house was remote enough for peace and quite and allowed the kids to have fun and I didn't worry about them disturbing neighbors while having fun outside. The community pool was clean and not overly crowded. Lots of things to do in the area. The hosts provided a binder with local attractions that we found helpful. We are already talking about going back next year. Thank you Erica and Eleni you have a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay.

July Getaway
This home was tranquil and beautiful as presented in the photos and in working order. The woodwork provided an authentic cozy cabin atmosphere. It was wonderful to sit on the back deck during rain storms. We had many deer visitors and enjoyed a fire in the large, private back yard. The jacuzzi tub in the Master Bath was wonderful, and the game room was a hit, especially with my 14 year old son and husband.. I loved having the Master Bedroom on the main floor with the remaining bedrooms upstairs. Eric was a fantastic host, and I appreciated timely communication any time I had a question. This home is well appointed and maintained.

Spring Family Retreat at the Lodge Cabin
The lodge cabin was well-maintained and very clean. The modern rustic decor and incredible attention to detail made the home warm and inviting. There was plenty for our family to enjoy inside the cabin and in the yard. My husband and I were fierce competitors on the old-school arcade game! The owner was very responsive and left a binder with all you need to know about the cabin and surrounding area. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the grounds of the community were not well kept and the WiFi and cellular signals were weak in that area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Glad to know you enjoyed our property but we are confused as to why would you fault us for stuff we have no control over? No other guests have complained about the WiFi, nor did you say anything during your stay. We don’t control the community, we don’t control the cellular reception either yet you hold this against us seems a bit unfair.

2nd stay just as amazing as the 1st
Me and my partner just had our 2nd stay in this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed our first stay so much we knew we just had to rebook when it came time for another weekend getaway. Eric is always so friendly and accommodating. He allowed us an early check in and check out. The property is always so well kept and clean. The perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic hosts!!!
We are long time VRBO-ers and have had a variety of experiences with rentals and hosts. Most have been great, but by far, Eric and Eleni rank right there at the top when it comes to attentiveness and communication. They went over and above anything we've experienced in hosts, even putting up a Christmas tree to make the week more festive for us. What a lovely thing to do!!!! The check-in was smooth and there was a plethora of information about local businesses, restaurants and points of interest. The grandkids really appreciated the game room and it was a real treat for all of us to have a smart TV with all the streaming services you could ask for, as well as strong WIFI. The home is clean and well cared for, as well as cozy and comfortable. We had a lovely, lovely time and most definitely will be back!

2 family weekend stay
The house was even nicer than it appears in the photos. We were a group of two families, each with a 4 year old. We stayed during the Covid pandemic so we didn't venture out too much however there are plenty of games and activities to keep kids and adults busy at the house (arcade machine, foosball, pool table, trampoline, jungle gym, fireplace, board games.) The house appears to be recently renovated with modern amentities but keeps the mountain cabin vibe. The owner was quick to respond with any unexpected questions that popped up. This house is in a great central location for Pocono Raceway, Pocono hikes, Jim Thorpe day trips, and skiing. We would definitely rent again next time we're looking to stay in the Poconos.

Beautiful Peaceful Blue Owl Lodge
We had a great stay over Thanksgiving 2020. Eric was a great host. Super communication and a beautiful, clean, and cared for home. We will definitely consider returning. The security line at check in was a little crazy and the guards were not very friendly but once we were in, we had a great stay. Thanks Eric for being a great host.

Beautiful cabin!
We had a great time! Our family of 5 spent the Thanksgiving weekend here since we couldn’t be with extended family for the holiday. It was so cozy, had fun things for all of us to do and was a great place to make memories. We will be back!

Lovely Getaway
We greatly enjoyed staying at this property for a quiet getaway to relax and enjoy the fall foliage. We had a nice surprise as we were greeted on our arrival by four very friendly deer. The house, particularly the interior, was beautiful and spotlessly clean; we loved all the woodwork. Everything in the house was as pictured and described. Eric was very prompt in responding to all of our inquiries and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process from making reservations through our stay and checkout. The only reason I could not give five stars is that the jacuzzi tub, which was one of the big pluses for us at this property, was not working when we arrived and Eric was unable to get it back in service during our stay. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Weekend reunion
Great weekend catching up with old college friends at this beautiful home. The large yard was great for playing lawn games and the deck was perfect for grilling and hosting all of us. The house was larger than I would have thought which was a pleasant surprise and very clean!

Amazing house, we cant wait to come and stay again. Property manager was always there for anything we needed, but we didn't need much because everything was already there for us. Lovely large back yard and deck perfect for kids of all ages or just peaceful adult time away. Can't recommend enough.
