Amazing View
The property was great! It was clean, fully stocked and very comfortable. We sat outside on the deck most evenings, the view was incredible! I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful location
It is small, but fit our needs perfectly. The location is great with beautiful views from the big back deck. A lot of wonderful hiking trails near here. It's literally at the base of the tram. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Fantastic Hosts, Fabulous Accommodations
The whole place was so nicely put together, very cozy and welcoming, exactly as it's represented in the online description. I really appreciated the easy directions and communication with the hosts, and the location just at the base of the Sandia Tram was perfect! I went hiking, and what a gorgeous location. A peaceful retreat
In Albuquerque visiting family, including 2 busy teenagers and 2 working parents. Our VRBO provided a comfortable and very scenic retreat away from the hubub that comes with that stage in life, while allowing us to be just minutes away. We were well cared for and enjoyed the hospitality. We will be back!!

Heavenly Views
This property was perfect for my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment itself had everything a person (or couple) could need. In addition, it was located right by the tram entrance and the views of both the mountains and valley were exquisite.

Awesome Place with Great Hosts!
Spent the week in Albuquerque to visit family over the holidays. Growing up in Albuquerque, this place and the location is perfect for seeing what Albuquerque is all about. The accommodations are better than advertised. We loved the quit and quaint location and the layout of the room. It was perfect for us and the hosts were extremely attentive and very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We stay at VRBO so that we can cook. The cooking set could easily be upgraded. We were quickly given a pot on request. It's just that as I started preparing dinner, I realized there wasn't proper cooking supplies all around. Very nice other than the before mentioned

Property was located in the Sandia Mts. right near the tramway. Beautiful area. Nice views, Quiet and Serene. We felt very safe there and it was private. I particularly loved the outdoor space.

Quaint little place with a lot of extras provided. Pool was dirty or stained. A/c unit was very loud for a small place. We had to turn tv up very loud to hear over a/c. For the price it is worth the money.

The views and location were well above our expectations. Lisa thought of everything - including a great supply of k-cups! The only thing we were disappointed with was the pool - we had been told it wouldn’t be heated at this time, which was ok. But it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Overall it was an amazing stay & would highly recommend. Thanks!

This is a lovely place, hosts are incredible, never had some many supplies in a vrbo. Plenry of bottled water, cold and room temperature, coffee, amazing different teas, plenty of towels etc. Bed is nice, kitchenette a bit small, but who wants to make a big dinner on vacation anyway. So perfect doable to make a nice breakfast. Good size fridge and feezer, microwave, coffeemaker etc. And then the amaxing view, nothing better the sitting on the big patio and enjoying the view with a nice drink. The homeowners are amazing fast to respond to any concern or question you have. So really recommend this place.

Perfect for one & outdoor recreation
The property is in a beautiful and scenic location. The hosts were friendly and generous. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The space worked great for myself. It was easily accessible and had everything I needed for my week-long trip to Albuquerque. The property is perfectly located for outdoor recreation—the trail system is amazing! I never drove more than 15 minutes to a trailhead. Grocery stores, restaurants, etc. are only a few minutes away. I always had an easy time getting around. Traffic was never an issue. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

This unit is part of a house with host onsite; they provided a helpful welcome. The room is small but cozy; worked well for 2 people. The view is spectacular! We had a very pleasant stay here.

Relaxing Stay
It is evident that the owners care about their property, and it shows that they have worked hard to make every detail enjoyable for their guests. The view of the city lights is breathtaking! Will be lovely to go back during warmer weather when I can stay outside and look at the views longer, and enjoy the pool. I do plan to stay here again! Great place for my pets, and to share with my friend for a couple of nights before and after visiting near Taos. I was very comfortable and felt safe the whole time I stayed! Amazing communication with the owners for my every need! The only thing I could have used is another plug, or two. It became kind of a game to see what I would unplug to plug in the coffee pot! No real problem - just one of the joys of a home that is a little older!! So many good things about staying here! Very clean, updated, and at a price point that I could afford!! Thank you Walter and Lissa for a wonderful stay!

Not bad but not spectacular
The location of the rental is prime for hiking and views of the city. Also, very nice being next to the Sandia Tramway. We live in Albuquerque not far from here and needed a romantic getaway. I wouldn’t say the ambiance was sufficient for what we were looking for. The room feels like a mediocre dorm room. If that doesn’t bother you, than I can see rebooking if you want this location. It wasn’t what we expected especially after reading the reviews. The owners are nice and quiet. Ambiance was sub par, it was decently clean. Note that there’s no heat just space heaters. I wouldn’t plan on cooking a meal here, either. Stay was nice just to get away, but rental was lack luster on the outside and inside.

Gateway to Albuquerque’s Best Sunset
This cozy all in one unit has it all for accomodations. The location is right outside of the tram and an awesome restaurant, Ten-3, is at the top. Make reservations a week ahead try to time it during sunset. Hiking trails are easily accessible within a mile.

Quiet and Convenient
We stayed at Lisa and Walters place and it was great! Good instructions on check in procedure and good location if you are looking for a safe and quiet place. It’s close to the Sandia mountains for nature lovers. We worked the balloon fiesta and it was easy to park after a late night and have our own entrance for early morning departures. The little kitchenette was perfect preparing our lunches. The mattress was comfortable. The hosts were available and happy to address anything we needed. Great place!

Gem vacation spot in Albuquerque
Fabulous stay in the foothills of the Sandia mountains overlooking Albuquerque . Lisa and Walter were exceptional hosts; thorough communication, very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, organized and cooled down upon our arrival and the dogs graciously scarfed down the dog treats, and a few pieces of the fresh strawberries left by our hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer. If your travels entail a trip to ABQ, this is your home away from home with an exceptional location, stunning views, and hosts that go above and beyond for their customers.

Hidden gem!!
The pictures do not do this view justice. We stayed 2 nights and my son loved the pool while I was captivated by the amazing view. The hosts went above and beyond making sure we had everything. The room is small but lovely laid out and the bed is comfortable. The hosts provided water, extra bedding and responded promptly for any questions. Honestly, the host gives you the pool and deck for your stay. It's secluded and well a perfect place to see the sunset and city lights. I would recommend and hope to visit again!

We loved our stay at this property! The views were breathtaking day and night. The space had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Queen bed is amazing. Futon is the most comfortable pull out we’ve seen. It’s leather and very soft. The shower has plenty of hot water. The hosts were so generous and kind. They stocked us with bottled water and even brought us fresh strawberries. We felt very welcome. We only wish we had spent more time enjoying the view! We will be back to enjoy the outdoor space next time for sure. The neighborhood is so nice and we felt very secure and safe during our stay. Check- out was an absolute breeze. Thanks to the host for providing this comfortable retreat.

You’ll be happy you booked here
We loved it here so much, we decided to extend our stay. The hosts are extremely friendly. They made the conscious effort to check in on us regularly, making sure we had everything we needed. They were quick to respond to questions and offered recommendations to some local spots. They were also very mindful of our privacy, always giving us a heads up before entering the shared space near the pool. Every encounter we had with them was pleasant, whether it was virtual or in person. Now the space: it’s quaint, but had everything we needed in it. We lived comfortably for several weeks. The area is very safe, the neighbors are kind, and the views of the sunset are impeccable. We were sad to leave, but excited to give someone else to opportunity to experience it.

Perfect stay !!! Don’t miss out on this place!
My husband and I and our two pets stayed for a week in November ! We weren’t sure about booking because there were no reviews yet. We are VERY happy that we booked ! It’s a small , very comfortable apartment , that was perfect for the two of us , in a beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains! It has a huge patio and deck that overlooks ABQ and behind the house was the mountains ! The owners live on-site and met us in person to show us around ! We had complete privacy and our two pets loved the patio and the fenced in area around the pool! The tram and miles of hiking are within distance which was a big plus for us ! Shopping and wonderful restaurants are just minutes away. Our hosts were very kind and gracious , they even provided us and our pets with snacks ! We would recommend this place highly and look forward to staying here again !
