"The room was spotless, and was very spacious. Good facilities, with small kitchenette, and renovated bathroom.
The road was a bit noisy, but did quieten down later in the night. We slept well.
The pub across the road serves excellent meals!
Would definitely stay there again."
"Definitely in my top 5 House of Tudor themed hotels in the Albury/Wodonga region. Personally, I would have liked to see more references to the Plantagenet dynasty."
"Conveniently located with all amenities within walking distance. Free parking is a great thing which lot of hotels do not provide. This is our second stay at this hotel and will stay again."
"First of all - this is a motel. Not a hotel as advertised.
Checkin - arrived just after 4pm - nobody in reception. Eventually had to go the bar to find staff to check us in. The room we were given was dated and tired looking and not at all like the pictures but as we were only stopping overnight we figured it would be fine. Everything was “acceptable” until waking the next morning and finding the bathroom full of black flies despite all windows and doors being closed. We couldn’t use the facilities and had to throw out our toothbrushes as they had flies all over them. Left immediately and couldn’t even access reception to check out. Had to wait around outside to hand key in to a staff member arriving to work. Sent email requesting a follow up and a refund, with multiple follow ups required for over a week due to lack of response only to be told it was an “environmental issue” out of their control.
The club is under major construction which was communicated but it also advised all amenities are still available when they are not as the fitness facilities are closed. The “games room” is also just gambling machines."
"Easy off road parking, a serviced reception until 9pm, a very comfortable bed, clean room and all the amenities required. We have stayed before and will stay again. Recommended!"
