"We had a wonderful stay at Complutum Hostel! So artsy and cool just like in the photos. Its in steps away from historic sites and literally across the street from a gorgeous old spanish court adorned with lush gardens. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cafe serves delicious food. The a la carte breakfast at the cafe was wonderful! Fresh squeezed orange juice, quiche and baked goods. YES they squeezed the juice right in front of us! "We wanted an overnight stop halfway from Almeria to Santander without going into Madrid itself. The hotel was ideally situated just off the A2 and parking was available right outside the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel provided a late snack and drink when we arrived and a good value breakfast the next morning (4 Euros for a breakfast which included bacon and eggs!).
