"The hotel is very attractive, inviting and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive towards us. The breakfast buffet was superb and the restaurant for evening meals was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner, it was presented beautifully and best of all, it tasted great. The room was clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and it was especially nice to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

"We were slightly underwhelmed with this hotel. Felt a bit like a cruise ship for elderly people. The amenities were sparse to say the least. The rooms felt outdated. The room was clean tho, the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was very good."

Joana goes the extra mile to make sure guests have a fantastic stay.. This hotel makes its clients feel special simply by the fabulous service they provide from the staff on the front desk and from the staff assisting with luggage and valet service. Paulo did a fabulous job looking after us with respect to showing us the features of the resort, assisting with luggage and making sure our car was charged and available when we needed it. We loved our 5-day stay in this stylish hotel. Our room was modern and sophisticated with dark wood and beige ascents that helped create a relaxing environment. The bathroom with its modern amenities was spacious and had a wonderful rain shower. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. The room provided the perfect respite after a day of visiting museums and sightseeing. Another reason to stay here is their fabulous restaurant. João Simões and Inês did a wonderful job making sure our dining experiences were memorable. This is one hotel that is a must to stay at. You will not be disappointed"

"They said they offered on site parking not true. No on site parking suppose to have 2 beds she said not available then told me to just pull apart the beds. Booked a balcony room with city views. No city view saw roofs. Small table 1 chair. Bathroom was scary I didn't shower. Cobwebs on the ceiling light. Other staff was nice. "

"Lovely welcome back . Clean room and fairly spacious . Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good didn’t have any other meals at the hotel . Didn’t use pool or spa . Been back 3 times now so that must say something ! "

"Very small room and bathroom. Very basic hotel. You have to walk on a national road (no path) for about 5 mins to access the town if you don’t want to drive. That may not be suitable for everyone. Rooms are incredibly small and basic - don’t bring a cat with you because there won’t be enough room to swing it! Shower/bathroom very small. Staff friendly. Breakfast was ok. "

"Let’s start with something positive, which is that the restaurant staff is very very kind and they try to do their best to make up for the deficiencies of other departments. I trace A LOT and sty in many different hotels. This one is 2-stars at best. Housekeeping is minimal and they take less than 5mins for the entire apartment (superficial cleaning). All of the facilities feel very cheap and outdated. Hair dryer wasn’t working and the AC smells like in an old motel. Wifi reception is horrendous, there are no amenities like shower gels etc. The pool area seem neglected and not well taken care of. There also seem to be water damage in some of the hallways, since the paint is peeling off of the walls. Breakfast selection is the same everyday and both fruit and meat selection are everything but appealing (think of pineapple from the can a pink looking rubber that is supposed to be bacon I guess). I feel sorry for the waitresses for saying this but stay away from this place! I would probs lay shut it down fo a year or year and a half, remodel it completely and than start again from scratch. Otherwise, it’s only going to progress to worse"
