Fish-Swim-Relax-Repeat on Lake Mary


Come enjoy the Lake Mary Lake House. Watch breathtaking sunrises, catch sunfish off the dock, swim with the littles, chat by the fire…whatever it is you go to the lake for, you will find it here. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided.

We keep our rates low and the nightly minimum to 3 because we want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy time at the lake.

Many guests also enjoy renting the pontoon during their stay which is only $200 per day or $600 for the week. This year we have added a fishing boat that is available for the same rates.

This house was completely renovated in 2019. It sits only 50 feet from the water and everything was designed with our guests in mind...relaxation, fun, comfort, convenience and cleanliness. Our hope is for your group to make memories that become stories told for years to come. Many of our guests have made a trip to Lake Mary an annual tradition.

Lake Mary is a clean lake with excellent fishing. Property owner, Mark, is an avid fisherman and will gladly provide some tips upon request. Bass and sunnies are guaranteed. Walleye are abundant as well.

The property sits on a bay. The depth increases slowly, making this ideal for young swimmers or for wading in. The bottom is sandy and the water is clear. You will have 100 feet of lakeshore to enjoy. There is a dock for your boat should you choose to bring one.

The property is in a quiet country neighborhood, 10 miles from Alexandria. It sits on a dead-end road and has an open field behind it. There is a large yard to play in and plenty of parking. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level and 1 in the basement. The living room, kitchen and dining are a spacious, open area.

For the nature lover: View breath-taking sunrises on the lake side, gorgeous sunsets in the back and star gazing at night. There are two bald eagle's nests near the property. Their flight pattern is in front of the property so daily sightings are likely. Loons also live in the bay.

If you wish to take a break from the lake, Alexandria, recently voted Best Town in Minnesota, is just 10 minutes away. Things to do and see include: charming local shops, unique and delicious restaurants, Copper Trail Brewery, Carlos Creek Winery, Big Ole, Brophy Park, and the Central Lakes Trail.

We had a wonderful week long stay. The house was more than large enough to accommodate 6 adults and 4 kids ages 6 to 17. We had everything we needed and the lake was great with many fish caught, including walleye. We would definitely return!

Fun family gathering

My family and I stayed there for a fun Labor Day weekend. The kids had a great time swimming, riding the paddle boards and kayaks, playing lawn games and sitting around the fire. The house was clean and exactly what we needed to house our extended family.

Hockey/Ice fishing weekend

We were in town for a mite jamboree and with the help of the owners we were able to get onto some panfish and walleye when we weren’t at the rink!

Peaceful lake stay

Plenty of room for our group. Everything we needed for our family to enjoy some time together on the lake. The kids had a ton of fun just playing on the dock and using the paddle boards. Just the view of the lake from the house was beautiful to enjoy. Owners were very helpful and accommodating! I hope we get the chance to stay here again!

Family Fun!

The lake home was beautiful and located on a great fishing lake. Our family enjoyed fishing (both on the lake and off the dock), swimming, kayaking and biking. We enjoyed playing yard games, relaxing, and bonfires. Alexandria has a lot to offer with plenty of shopping, parks, bike trails and ice cream!

We stayed for a sister’s weekend in October. The place was a great fit for our needs. The owners were very responsive when we forgot toilet paper! They got the neighbors to bring us some at 9:00 at night! Lovely neighbors! Beautiful sunrise!

Grandma Time at the Lake

Very spacious and comfortable house. Loved using the pontoon for fishing and swimming. Hosts were very accommodating and communicated easily through texts. Particularly loved the sunrise over the lake. Would highly recommend!

Great Vacation

We had a large group of adults and children stay here for a week. We thought it was able to accommodate our group without feeling on top of each other. There is a decent size yard in the front and the back and the water is easily accessible. The lake was nice and quiet. We liked being outside of Alexandria with it still being a short drive to get what we needed. The owners were very responsive and friendly.

Everything We Hoped

Plenty of room for all 9 adults who stayed. Great communicative hosts! We had issues with our own personal boat motor and they were willing to rent us the pontoon last minute. The backyard provided plenty of room for all of us to sit around the bonfire and play corn hole in the afternoon. Lovely view and great fishing lake! Will stay again.

Fantastic

What a phenomenal week at the lake! Chris was a wonderful host. On Monday, we woke up to a very rainy day and we had an email with rainy day activities. After the rain, the dock needed to be raised due to the amount of rain. The hosts were out there right away to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Chris was very responsive. The Lake Home was well equipped with everything that we needed. Our family especially enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon. The fishing was great on Lake Mary, which is important to my family. My grandsons caught multiple fish off the dock, so they were very happy. I was concerned about the space because we had a large group. My fears were unfounded and we had plenty of space! I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be staying here again!

Lake Mary Cabin - Trip 3

Our kids and grandkids, myself and spouse had a fabulous stay. Great renovated home cabin! Very roomy, plenty of comfortable sleep space. Great scenery, clean lake! Loved option of boat rental at reasonable rate. We appreciate that we were able to book 3 nights instead of a full week which is hard to find up north.
