Old Village Holiday
We came here for our friends wedding and thought we'd stay extra and make it our summer holiday. First time we had been away self catering as we always book an all inclusive package holiday. Was nice to eat out somewhere different each night and sample all of the fantastic restaurants on the marina. The village is very well maintained, and kept immaculate. The pool areas were also clean and tidy, but can be busy at peak times. Overall a fab holiday with our friends.

Lovely Villa, amazing location
We have just returned from a week at the Old Village. We stayed in this beautiful villa which is perfectly located. The villa is exactly as described and the host is amazing with regular contact before your stay for anything you need to know. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Lovely apartment
This apartment has everything you need for a family holiday, location is great a few minutes walk to any of the pools, and just beside one of the restaurants, spotless clean, and a lovely private sunny garden, I would have no hesitation booking again.

Wonderful Apartment
We spent a lovely relaxing holiday at this apartment. So convenient within the Old Village complex and only a short walk to the Marina. The apartment lacked for nothing and the host responded very quickly to all my enquiries. She was extremely informative and helpful. I would not hesitate to book again on our next visit to Portugal

Great family Holiday
We had a lovely family holiday at Michelle's property. The apartment was centrally located within the old village and ideal for us being on the ground floor as we have small children. The facilities within the apartment was everything we needed and the outside terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax. We highly recommend this apartment.

This is one of the better properties we have rented in the old village. Being very familiar with this area I am finding some of the properties are beginning to look tired. Some areas need a coat of paint etc. No big jobs just general maintenance so that home owners will get returning happy clients. Overall this property was very quiet and we would return. Thank you for a good stay.

Relaxing week in Old Village Vilamoura
The communication from Michelle was great . The apartment is a lovely ground floor apartment in a perfect position in the Old Village . Had all the facilities needed and a lovely private garden for sun bathing during the day or relaxing in the evening. We are regular visitors to The Old Village and this is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in . Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family .

The apartment was clean bright and furnished to a good standard Very well situated for the pools and supermarket on site The marina was a 20 minutes walk away but it was very easy to get a taxi into the marina I would highly recommend this property to couples, families and friends

Family break in the sun
Wonderful holiday in Michelle’s apartment. All communications with Michelle were reliable and easy. The apartment itself is Ideally located near the square and only a short stroll to the main pool and onsite bars and restaurants. The apartment is perfect with a small patio area to sit and enjoy a coffee early morning or glass of wine in the evening. This is the second time we have stayed at the old village and we will definitely return. Thank you .

Beautiful Old Village, Vilamoura
We (2 adults and 2 children ages 7 & 5) had a wonderful stay in Michelle's apartment. The location is just perfect - we've certainly fallen in love with the Old Village and hope to return very soon. The apartment is great - nice bedrooms, living area, kitchen and bathroom - which has a large double shower that was spotless! The location of the apartment is wonderful - so quiet & pretty yet located literally 15 metres from Casa De Lago - the nicest restaurant on the complex in our opinion! We didn't hear any noise from there at night but so lovely to be so close to everything on the complex. We were lucky enough to see a wedding held there too, which was fabulous! The apartment has a terrace with a table and 4 chairs, and 2 sun loungers are provided which we happily pulled on to the lawned area in front of the terrace. We felt very safe in the Old Village and used just one pool as our children made friends there almost immediately (the one near the park) but all pools looked great. I do a lot of research when planning our family holiday's and rarely write reviews unless I'm very happy. I can honestly recommend Michelle's apartment and can't wait to go back to the Old Village again! Re distance to the Marina - you can certainly walk but our children did moan a bit (lazy!) so the little train is a lovely way to get there or you can taxi (literally 3 minutes) for between 4 and 6 euros. We were told Uber is even cheaper but we used the local firms. The Marina is beautiful to visit both day and night. We had a wonderful holiday thank you!

Lovely perfectly situated apartment with everything you need
We stayed at the end of October when sadly the weather had just started to change for the worse. Luckily the apartment is well situated just seconds from the lovely Casa Do Largo restaurant and the supermarket so we never had to go far if we didn't feel like venturing out in the rain. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you need including comfy sofas and TV with plenty of channels if you fancy an evening in. Venturing out, the marina is just a short walk or 5 minute drive away where there was plenty to do and a 15 minute drive will take you to the Loule Mar shopping centre with designer outlets, Primark and Ikea all under one roof! The setting of the old village is simply beautiful and very peaceful when we went (our school had a late half term) but we could imagine that in busier times there would be a great atmosphere around the village and we'll definitely return again. The 3 pools were all lovely and well maintained and I can imagine these are busy in the summer months. There are plenty of sunbeds and in summer there's a small charge for these but at least that way you're more likely to get one. I should also mention the booking process with Michelle which was fantastic. Quick, easy and very friendly. We were even able to stay on later on our day of check out free of charge, for which we were very grateful. Obviously in the busy summer months we know this wouldn't be possible but it really made a difference to us so thank you Michelle!

The property was clean and well maintained. A lovely house .
We stayed for 10 nights and had a cleaner once. A lovely house beautifully furnished. Well positioned within the Old Village, central to all the restraunts and supermarket. I would stay in this property again.

Nice apartment in great location
Apartment is nice and loved being in the Old Village. Some basic kitchen equipment is lacking such as a chopping board, but overall it was a good choice

Family holiday
I have stayed in Vilamoura many times to play golf with friends. I have also stayed at the Old Village a few times so I knew exactly what to expect. This time I decided to take my wife and two boys who are 12 and 14 years old. The apartment was perfect for our requirements. Two bedrooms, kitchen area and a whole load of English TV Channels with Sky Sports included for when the boys needed to get their football fix. The apartment was clean and tidy and centrally located. There are some nice restaurants in the village and never had any problems finding something nice to eat. We also visited the marina quite a lot which is a pleasant 15 minute stroll away. I was a little worried to start with that there wouldn't be enough for the boys to do but everything worked out just fine. We also used the airport transfer supplied in the confirmation email supplied by Michele and would highly recommend it. I will definitely consider using this apartment again as we had a great time. Fantastic
We stayed 8-22 August on our 3rd visit to the algarve and had a fantastic time. From the start Michelle was brilliant, answering questions promptly making the whole process a very easy one. We used clicktooldvillage, discounted when using Michelle’s name, for our transfer from faro which took 30 mins. On arrival we quickly got our keys despite being an hour earlier than check in, note 20 Euro deposit for the pool card. The apartment was perfect for our needs with 2 boys 10&12. The bedrooms are a nice size with fitted wardrobes, the kitchen/lounge spacious and a nice bathroom. The apartment was very clean and we particularly liked the garden terrace area especially early morning and sunset. The only issue we had was that the safe was broken. Within a few hours, Michelle’s husband had been round and fitted a new one. The oldvillage is a beautiful setting to relax in. The gardens are immaculate with staff raking leaves up every day!! There are 3 pools, we preferred the dolphin pool as it was a little quieter and easier to get a bed. The beds cost 1.50 euros each per am/pm but there’s also grassed areas. We tended to get 2 beds with an umbrella and also lie on the grass behind, the kids spent most of their time in the pool anyway. The pools open at 9 and usually arrived just after this time and always got a bed, people do queue from 7:30 at the main pool though. Pool attendants come round regularly to collect the charge and remove any inflatables from the pool. Not sure why inflatables are banned but despite this they sell them in the shop. A shop is conveniently located on site, not the cheapest but still cheaper and easier than travelling to find another one. The bars/restaurants on site are varied in style and all serve nice food. Every bar has a happy hour period, they all differ but generally 3-9, where you can get a large beer for 2.2 Euros or a G&T for about 4. If you don’t want to eat on site the marina is 20 mins away and is a lovely place for a meal out with everything on offer. Zoo marine is well worth a visit as is aqua show. Most locals take a picnic, rug and umbrella and set themselves up on the grass for the day. This is definitely the best thing to do as the food on site is expensive, isn’t great and takes ages to be served. Again we used clicktooldvillage for transport who are located on site. Overall we’d highly recommend the old village to anyone and Michelle’s apartment is perfect for a family of 4 for 2 weeks.

Clean well equipped apartment
Lovely stay in beautiful Vilamoura. Apartment was. Lean and had everything you need for a holiday with the exception of a broom to keep the place clean between services. Beds comfortable and very quiet location. Michelle the owner is very responsive and allowed us to stay in the apartment and bit later as we had a late departure. Would recommend to family and friends. Old Village is lovely with bars, restaurants and a handy shop. Good happy hour in the pub from 3-7 when we were there.

Perfect apartment in a great location
Just back from a stay at villa 12a, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking! Apartment was spotlessly clean, all necessary utensils etc supplied, really comfortable beds&travel cot set up and ready to go for our toddler. Great communication with the owner from start to finish. Free parking right outside the door if you have rented a car and restaurants, pools and supermarket a stones throw away from the apartment.
