Location, Location, Location
This apartment was perfect for my wife and I. It was exactly as advertised. Location was ideal for walking to the Old Town, the Marina, the Beach and Pingo Doce. The south facing patio overlooking the green space was a highlight. My wife enjoyed the bathtub and the shower was great. Karel and Estela were very accommodating hosts. Hope to return.

Looked good but very uncomfortable.
We lived on the marina for 5 years so knew the location was perfect for us. I am disabled and now a wheelchair user. Whilst the furniture looked considerably better than what you usually get in a rental, it was very deceiving, extremely hard and uncomfortable inside and out. The plastic dining table dips badly in the middle making it unsuitable for your hot drinks. It was very dusty on top of the headboard and a bit dusty throughout the apartment. I thought the saving grace was the bed which seems to be a double memory foam type mattress across two single joined bases. It would've been OK if it were not for the 2' long deep delve in the middle. It did make us laugh when we kept rolling together then struggled to get out of the hole. It just needs some thought given to improving customer comfort and value for money. The owner was really lovely and helpful and gave us access to the underground parking which gave me access to the apartment with my wheelchair. The property manager Betty, however, was less than welcoming. We were told on booking that we wouldn't be able to get in till 4pm, so on arrival at 1pm we went for lunch and knowing the place well, were happy to chill out. Betty called to say she was expecting us much earlier and that we had "messed up her schedule". We therefore left our lunch and rushed to meet her. She was brusque and very unwelcoming. We'd been up since 4am and felt awful.

Dear Lesley, I am really shocked by your comments, Thanks for pointing them out, Nobody else has complained about the bed or furniture, infact the sofa is only a few months old, and people have said the bed is very comfortable as the twin beds make in into a king size with a topper, We have returning clients all the time that just love the apartment, and furnishings, so i suppose we all have different tastes, We are going to address your several comments with management, and hopefully improve customer experience with future clients.

Perfect apartment and location
This is our second time at the apartment. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and very much a home from home. Couldn’t fault it ! It is ideally located for the Marina and a short walk to the Town and beach. The bus and train stations are within minutes walk from the apartment so easy access to local and wider locations is very easy. Highl recommend !

Highly recommended
We got a very warm welcome at the place and it is a great apartment with everything needed for a pleasant stay for two people. We were unlucky that it was cold, and the air con in the bedroom didn’t work to warm it up. Apart from that, we had a great time at Lagos marina.

Thanks for your review, regarding the aircon heating not working we hadn't known about this and because it was a xmas week we couldn't get it repaired, but there was a fan heater and a plug in radiator in the apartment for you also so it certainly shouldn't have been in any way cold!

I can highly recommend this property
The apartment is decorated beautifully and has a very spacious an bright feel. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot think of anything bad to say about this property. There is a lovely view from the balcony and the location is excellent convenient for the marina the beach and the town. Facilities are really good and everything we needed was provided. The pool area is beautiful and all the staff in the complex are really friendly and helpful. Our check in experience was really good we were met by Betty and nothing was too much trouble and she told us she was available to help us at any time. We were given a welcome bottle of.wine which was a nice touch. If I stay in Lagos again I would definitely stay here again.

Lagos Central !
Ideal location for walking out into Lagos Marina and Town along with all nearby activities. Close to all good golf courses eg Palmares, Penina and Espiche. The apartment is suitable for two guests wanting a short break in winter and longer in summer. Parking available very close by. Michaela is very responsive as are her local team in Lagos.

We liked the property and its location. But we had great difficulty contacting and meeting the keyholder on the day of our arrival, as previously notified, by train. The property was adequately furnished/provided for our needs, but the small area of work surface in the kitchen assumed eating out rather than in-house meal preparation. We were concerned at the insecure fixing of some electrical sockets .

Really good stay
Nice apartment for 2 with great view from balcony. Everything you need is there and really comfy bed. Very central to beach, grcery store and Lagos centre, all within an easy walk. I would have given it 5 stars but the road it is on is a bit busy. Didn't dsturb us though as bedroom windws are good quality. Recommend

Modern, clean, well located apartment with balcony overlooking gardens
Stayed for two months from end December 2018. Fabulous weather, crisp but sunny. Balcony was a real sun trap so could wear T shirts when having lunch. Short walk through the Marina to main town, nice to be away from the crowd but close enough to get there easily. Short walk in oppose direction to good supermarket but plenty of cafes and restaurants on the Marina wharf very close by. Walk to the beach and the beach cafes. Long beach, great for walks. Well equipped apartment, nicely furnished, with everything we needed. Parking off street across the road in sight from the apartment. Road at the back takes quite a bit of traffic but can’t be heard in apartment and didn’t disturb us. Had a great stay and would return if are plans take us that way again.

Lovely apartment, perfect location
Modern, spacious and clean apartment. We've visited Lagos previously and the location of the apartment is perfect for the bars and restaurants at the marina and the supermarket. The town and beach are a little further away but definitely walk-able (providing it's not too hot). The pool in the adjacent hotel is great (we have a two year old) and has a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Well equipped and handy location to enjoy Lagos
Comfortable and clean one bedroom apartment. We'll located for all the Lagos area has to offer. Nice garden view, pity the marina itself is not visible from the balcony. Only downside was lack of fresh towels and bedding during our 11 night stay.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Superbly equipped and very comfortable.
The apartment is very well located with easy access to the marina and beaches and the local supermarket. We heard no noise whatsoever whilst there, although we were there during the quieter periods. The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained with everything you need. The bed is so comfortable!!! Access to the swimming pool is easy and it is a large pool and not very crowded when we were there!! The balcony gets the sun almost all day and having breakfast looking out over the garden is a real pleasure. Customer service was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was exactly as described on the website only better. It had everything we needed, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine, food containers, dishes for six, glasses, air conditioning. Just everything! Just like home. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. It is bright and airy. Because of the aspect the sun gets to the balcony around late morning until late afternoon, so it never gets too hot inside the apartment. The view out over the garden of palm trees is lovely. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The situation is perfect. The TV had about 50 plus English channels so if the weather had been bad we'd have had good programmes to watch.There is no need for a car as the marina (5 mins walk) and town (15 min walk) are very close by. The beach is a 10 min walk away. The bus station is a 10 min walk. We got the bus to Portimao twice. There is also a train station 5 min walk from the apartment. Restaurants we really liked were: Italia, Portofinos, Cais J Cafe, Fernando, Henrique, The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse has music entertainment as well. Having a pass to use the pool and spa facilities in the Marina Club Suite Hotel was great. We used Yellowfish private taxi hire for the return journeys to the airport. They were very efficient, there on time for both trips and no more expensive than a taxi. No queueing for a taxi. One thing to be aware of is the "busyness" of Faro airport particularly for the journey home. The queues for both security and passport control were manic. So make sure you are there at least 2 if not 2.5 hours before your flight. Sandra was very friendly and met us on arrival. She would have been available to us 24/7, thankfully we did not need to contact her during our stay as we had no problems. We are planning a return trip next year. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful modern apartment
What a lovely apartment, everything you could wish for. Modern and very clean with a good sized veranda overlooking lovely garden. Spent most afternoons by the lovely pool which was also ideal for children. It is ideally located for local restaurants and the main area of Lagos with all it's restaurants and shops is just a short walk away. We have visited Lagos many times over the last 15 years and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone.

The Apartment and location were stunning. Apartment was exceptionally well equipped and clean, and we received a very friendly greeting on our arrival from Sandra. The apartment was gorgeous, exactly as described. Well equipped, stylishly furnished, lush balcony.
This was a very last minute booking - literally booked everything the night before we left ! I sent an email enquiry to Michaela late in the evening, not sure I would get a response at that time .. but I needn't have worried ! Michaela came straight back to me and everything was confirmed within minutes. We were met on arrival by Sandra, who was great - every holiday home owner needs a Sandra :-) The apartment is in an ideal location for walking to the Marina and into town to bars, restaurants etc. very clean and well maintained, stylishly decorated and the sun streaming on to the balcony for most of the day is wonderful. Would definitely highly recommend and book again. Many thanks !

Mooi appertement op goede locatie
Het verblijf in het appertement was zeer goed. Het contact tussen michaela verliep soepel. Bij aankomst werden we ontvangen door karel en zijn vrouw. Die met ons het appertement doir hebben gelopen Alles was schoon en netjes. Kortom een mooie plek om te zijn, he loopt zo naar de haven of naar de stad

Tolles Apartment in Top Lage.
Wohnung war Sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Personal und Verantwortliche waren sehr freundlich, hilfreich und informative. Es war eine erholsame urlaub. Sehr Empfehlenswert!!

Ce que nous avons aimé : la literie très confortable - l'emplacement proche de tout et Lagos est une très belle destination - l'accueil et l'efficacité (problème de clim réglé très rapidement) Ce qui nous a moins plu : la piscine non chauffée et commune avec tout le complexe (hôtel compris) donc difficile de trouver des sièges et non accessible directement, il faut sortir par la rue et faire le tour (il existe une carte magnétique pour accéder à un portail mais il n'est pas fourni avec l'appartement) - la piscine intérieure payante - le coin baignoire qui n'a pas du faire partie de la rénovation - pas assez de couverts dans la cuisine - le parking qui n'appartient pas à l'immeuble comme on pourrait le penser en lisant l'annonce mais on doit se garer dans la rue sur un petit parking devant. Bon séjour en résumé, à recommander ! Quelques petites améliorations ou précisions dans l'annonce et il sera parfait.

Thank you for the review, i would like just to clarify a couple of things, with regards to the cutlery we provide we should have had 6 items of knives, forks spoons etc, also steak knives, bread knife and a few larger sharper knives for chopping also ladles, large spoons wooden spoons, salad cutlery peeler, etc, as there were only 2 of you you shouldn't have ran out of any. I shall ask the management to check it out to make sure nothing has gone missing. The pool belongs to the Marina suites hotel , we are only allowed to purchase passes into the outdoor pool, not the inside or sauna unfortunately, but i did say if you want to use them there is a charge for them payable to the hotel, The hotel will not provide us with magnetic keys but its only a few yards more to the main entrance of the pool grounds. There are loads of loungers at the pool but obviously being high season people tend to go to the pool early enough to get one, this happens most places you book in July/August . Also we don't advertise that the parking is our own space but that there is plenty of free parking directly in front of the apartment. Hope this clarify things for you.Thanks again, welcome back anytime.

Ein tolles Appartment in zentraler Lage von Lagos. Ca. 100 m entfernt ein großer Supermarkt, auch Strand und Stadt sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein Parkplatz steht gegenüber vom Gebäude zur Verfügung. Die Betreuung durch Sandra und Sonya vor Ort war ebenfalls sehr gut. Lagos und Umgebung haben uns super gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

parfait à tous les niveau!
Beaucoup aimé l’appartement, la deco, la propreté, l’équipement , le confort et la situation. Le balcon nous a été très utile également. Avons bien apprécié l’accueuil De Sonia aussi. Nous étions près de la plage et de la ville mais dans un endroit calme et agréable. Rien de négatif, superbe plage et jolie ville. Nous avons eu la chance de prendre un tuktuk avec un super guide, Jefferson. Il parle anglais et portugais et ce fut très instructif et divertissant. Je recommande chaudement ce tour.
