Excellent with a few minor issues
The villa and gardens are beautiful; even better than the photos on the website suggest. The villa is in a quiet area, very private and not overlooked. The addition of the tree house / play area is wonderful for small children. We were very disappointed though by the state of the BBQ area. It was very untidy and extremely dirty and greasy. Obviously, it had not been cleaned for a long time. My son tried to clean it but it was too much effort. We had hoped to barbecue a lot as it is the ideal way to cook in the hot weather. What a pity. Also, some air con units were not working - in particular one in a bedroom. No one came to fix it as promised. Also, we were very surprised when two ladies arrived unannounced to park their car on the property. This should not have happened as the property was for our exclusive use during our stay. At the very least, we should have been informed in advance and our permission sought. And now a few small suggestions to improve the experience for guests in the future. 1. Provide Netflix and English channels on the TV. 2. Strengthen the Wi-Fi signal so that it works better in the garden. 3. Provide new table tennis bats. 4. Fix a new tip to one of the queues for the pool table and provide chalk finally. We would rent this villa again and recommend it to friends but only if there is a guarantee that the BBQ will be clean and usable. I say all these things only to help future visitors and the owner of this fantastic villa.

Good Villa - Poor Owner Involvement
The villa was generally excellent, although the fridge kept leaking. What was really poor was the owners attitude to the fact that we were without hot water for 36 hours. The local lady did all she could to solve the problem with local tradesmen, which eventually worked, but when we asked the owners for some form of compensation, there was complete silence - not even an apology. I own rented properties, and clearly things will sometimes go wrong - that is a given - but it is the owner's attitude and how they deal with the problem that sets certain villas/owners apart, and the owners here let themselves down badly. You'll have a great holiday here unless something goes wrong.

Spacious villa, great pool area & games facilities.
Really great villa for a large family group, we had a wonderful holiday. Spacious with good bathroom facilities & plenty of hot water, great games facilities and pool area. The Kitchen equipment provided would benefit from a little more cutlery & crockery for large groups but overall - fabulous!

Nice rural location and a lovely villa - great pool & games area.
9 of us stayed at the villa for 7 days in May 2018 and had a great time, despite some unseasonably cool weather. Olhos de Agua with its bars, restaurants and golf course is a 10-15 minute walk from the villa along quiet roads, or a few minutes by car. Most of the rooms at the villa are lovely although some outside areas need some attention to bring it up to the top standard. The games area with the pool table, table tennis, football table & boules court was in constant use, but when we arrived it obviously hadn't been cleaned, other than the floor being washed. There was a badly torn awning beside the outside ktichen, the barbeque was dirty, rooftop terrace was messy, hot tub hadn't been cleaned - it looked like these areas hadn't been cleaned in months and generally there was a feeling that there's been a lack of attention to all the external communal areas. If some basic maintenance and deep cleaning is carried out this could be the stunning property it looks like in the pictures.

Haus und Grundstück sind grosszuegig und sehr schön. Highlight ist der beheizte Pool !!! Es gab einige kleine Probleme , die aber mit den Eigentuemern in Frankreich behoben werden konnten . (Antworten immer auf franzoesisch) . Kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort !

Onze kennismaking met Algarve-regio
Mooie, heel ruime villa in een rustige buurt. Restaurants op +/- 1,5 km, strand op +/- 3 km (schattingen). Verblijf was een succes voor alle familieleden (11 personen in totaal). Toch ernstige minpunten: in van de 6 slaapkamers vertoonde de airco ernstige defecten (airco werkte niet in 2 kamers, lekte constant in de 3de kamer, meer dan één emmer water per dag). Eigenares verwittigd bij aankomst in de villa op zaterdag, per telefoon (ze zou de technieker verwittigen, maar zonder zekerheid dat er iemand zou reageren), later ook per mail via de vrbo-website (geen reactie meer vanwege de eigenares). Poetsen: keuken hebben we helemaal zelf gereinigd, stof en vet alom, kookplaat droeg nog alle resten van vorige kookbeurten. Ook geen poetsploeg gezien tijdens de week verblijf, ook al was dit aangekondigd bij de beschrijving van de villa. Uitrusting soms minimalistisch, bv. geen tafel te vinden om alle 11 familieleden samen te laten eten, niet binnen noch buiten - tafels en stoelen zijn dan bijeengehaald. BBQ-voorzieningen niet gebruikt want niet proper. Geen keerborstel noch stofzuiger om zelf wat clean te houden. Conclusie: we hebben genoten van onze kennismaking met de Algarve, maar we gaan op zoek naar een ander verblijf in de toekomst.

Villa espaçosa num lugar muito tranquilo
Villa espaçosa muito boa para férias em família, ou grupo de amigos, numa zona muito calma. Voltaria e recomendaria, mas acho que merecia maior cuidado e manutenção como o caso do frigorífico que não estava a funcionar bem e do BBQ que estava muito sujo. Estivemos muito bem instalados, a casa é confortável e tem um jardim ótimo e cheio de árvores de fruta.

Bonita casa
Nos ha gustado mucho la casa y la zona donde se ubica. Hemos tenido algún problema con algunos aparatos que no funcionaban . Uno de ellos nos lo arreglaron pero una aparato de aire acondicionado de una de las habitaciones, no han venido a repararlo y alguna noche hizo calor. La piscina la limpiaron solo un día , parece que no funciona la depuradora y enseguida se ensuciaba. La casa es impresionante pero deberían de vigilar más el mantenimiento en general.

Très belle villa
Très jolie villa avec un jardin et une piscine superbes dans un quartier calme. Mais, personne à l'accueil pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l'ouverture de la barrière - interrupteur caché en partie par un buisson - ni l'alarme, ni quoi que ce soit comme par exemple l'emplacement des grandes surfaces proches, difficiles à trouver. Manque de clarté du document reçu de la propriétaire - un numéro de téléphone en France mais il faut le deviner car pas d'indicatif du pays - nous pensions qu'il s'agissait d'un numéro portugais d'autant que Madame s'appelle Fernandes. Il manquait aussi un numéro d'urgence (médecin, hôpital ...). Certaines lampes de chevet ne marchaient pas. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bonnes vacances dans cette villa très spacieuse.
