Beautiful and relaxing
We had a wonderful stay, everything you could want for a holiday is provided. The property is in a great location for amenities, etc but we didn’t end up leaving the property much as the warm weather and the pool kept us busy! Deborah was very accommodating for both an early arrival and a late departure. We will definitely be back!

Best holiday ever
We had a fantastic holiday, the villa is amazing and has everything you need. The boys played golf on both courses and got a really good deal with a buggy. We didn’t have a car we just used Ubers a lot tried to drop us at the gate at the bottom and charged us more for bringing us round but my daughter disputed these and we got the extra back. Fell in love with Ferragudo and would recommend PortArade for food. Amazing host fantastic villa, would be hard to beat.

Great villa in a great location
Our group consisted of 2 adults and 2 older teens (17 & 18). Communication with Deborah was fantastic from the beginning. The information pack sent to us included all relevant info regarding the villa, the check-in process, instructions from the airport and everything about the local area (beaches, shopping, restaurants etc) The villa had everything that we needed. The pool and garden were perfect. We felt very safe in the golf resort with visible security. We played a round of golf, which was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, I would definitely recommend this villa!

Fabulous stay
What a wonderful villa! It honestly has everything you could think of. Very clean and comfortable. The balcony in the evening was lovely. Played both golf courses. The supermarket is 5 minutes drive, and the bakery department had delicious bread and cakes. Communication was excellent. The wi-fi is really good. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

A pristine home in a beautiful location
The property is wonderfully decorated in a beautiful location and loaded with all of the fixings to assure a fantastic getaway. From the lush garden, to the pool, to the putting station, upper deck, and more, you will not be disappointed. Deborah was extremely accommodating and available to answer any questions we had and the information binder included a plethora of recommendations that did not disappoint. My husband, in-laws and I had a phenomenal time!

We will be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Casa Larkin #252. The villa was immaculate and had everything we needed to relax in the sunshine. It was like a home from home. Deborah was helpful and quick to respond to messages. The photos really do not do the villa justice - it really is beautiful. Kitchen basics were supplied such as spices, condiments etc, lots of soap, dishwashing supplies and paper towels. Normally we end up having to buy salt/pepper etc so it was a nice surprise to see a cupboard of essentials. Thank you for everything.

Gorgeous villa
We had a fantastic week over October half term - the villa is lovely and really well equipped, including decent wi fi for the teenagers (🤣), a lovely garden, pool and bbq area, putting green and generally loads of space. Excellent Villa - Fantastic Host
Spent October half term here with the family and had an excellent stay. The Villa is really well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Both inside and outside the Villa are fabulous with lots of space and a great little putting green to practice your short game. The Villa is in a great location, very near local amenities, the slide a splash water park and Carvoeiro where there are some excellent restaurants. All in all a fantastic find and I would highly recommend as a place to stay for anyone heading to the Algarve. Thanks Deborah for being a fantastic host too.

Stunning villa with modern furnishings, a lovely garden and pool. The pool area is very private with loads of pool furniture, outdoor dining spaces and a BBQ. There is also a putting green for any keen golfers to hone their skills prior to a game on Gramacho or Vale da Pinta. The villa itself comes with all the facilities you would expect. 3 large and comfortable bedrooms with TV's. An en-suite and good sized bathroom as well as a small toilet. The air conditioning is superb and keeps the villa nice and cool on a warm day. The kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher and washing machine as well as a large fridge freezer. There is a lovely balcony with seating and dining. The wi-fi extends to outdoor areas as well. All instructions on how everything works from the entry gates to the hot water are easy to follow and understand. We have visited the Algarve on a number of occasions but never stayed in the Lagoa area. The villa is close to a number of lovely beaches, some great restaurants, Slide and Splash Waterpark which is a must for anyone travelling with children of all ages (and those of us still young at heart) It is a great base for many golf courses in the area. Deborah was always there if needed and nothing was too much trouble. All in all, we had a great stay and can't fault the villa in any way. The location and facilities are first class and we will definitely be back. Whether it's your first visit to the Algarve or returning, you need look no further than this property

A Month in Paradise
My husband and I decided to spend a full month in the Algarve area to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We were so fortunate to have come across Casa Larkin in our search for a home away from home. That is exactly what Deborah Larkin has done for her guests. Deborah has thought of every comfort imaginable: from the wonderful sitting areas both inside and out to the fully stocked kitchen to the board games, puzzles and DVD’s available to the decor … I could go on and on. Nothing is left to chance! When we needed her to clarify a matter, she was there. When we asked a question, she answered. Deborah is committed to her guests, their enjoyment and her home 100% of the time. As a result, we had an awesome time with no worries. We followed her recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to savour, and found a few gems of our own. Thank you Deborah! You are the best host.

STUNNING PROPERTY
On arrival, the check in process was so easy - everything was exactly as informed. Upon entering, there were lots of 'Wow's....what a stunning property! Both inside and out, everything was perfect. Large airy living space, with a very well equipped kitchen. All bedrooms beautifully appointed, with fantastic bathrooms. The outside spaces were superb....sun, shade, pool, garden and the putting green a great bonus! We would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone looking for a staycation in the beautiful Algarve 🌞

Well needed relaxing break
Fantastic location to get away though I would personally advocate hiring a car to get the most out of the area there are a number of amenities close by (and also at the villa itself of course). Lovely quality property with everything you need to enjoy your holiday and unwind quickly. Spoilt for golf if that’s your thing but equally tennis is walkable and for running lovely and safe albeit a bit hilly, you’ll definitely come back fitter. We used a well know Global app for restaurants and found some top quality choices close by, equally beaches are 5-10 mins away. Would definitely recommend.

What can I say about Casa Larkin. Simply wonderful!
We had an amazing time at Casa Larkin, the villa is perfectly placed to explore the fantastic beaches and check out the surrounding areas. The Villa is short of nothing and is the best we have stayed in. Don’t let these crazy times discourage you to travel here, we felt safe and secure during our stay and the property manager was helpful and communicative at all times. The Villa was out of this world!
The villa was exactly how I would decorate my house! It wasn't just a villa, it was a home and it was spotless. Everything you need was there from English plugs to skewers for smores! There is a binder in the villa containing every bit of information that you need and was so well written and very funny. The communication with the owner was excellent and can not fault the security which made us feel very secure on top of the electric gates at the villa. The views are stunning and it is nice and peaceful. We had a great family holiday and will be returning. x

Stunning Villa, Fantastic Holiday
We had a fantastic week at Casa Larkin in what was a truly stunning Villa. The villa is in a great location and fitted out to a very high standard with everything you would ever need. The pool and outdoor BBQ area were superb. The location is fantastic- quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes drive from the beach and the local villages, with lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful 3 bedroom home / spacious landscaped lot / security and well located central Algarve ve
This beautiful property comfortably accommodates 3 couples with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in a gated community in the Pestana golf resort located just a few minutes north of Carvoeira. There is access to 3 Pestana courses as well as others a short drive away.The home is as the photos show with a nice pool and spacious landscaping. The SW facing orientation was perfect for morning & afternoon sun. Easy access to Hwy 125 as well as the east-west A2 freeway allows for quick travel from Faro to Lagos. Local scenic towns and beaches are only minutes away as are shopping areas and the many restaurants of the area with amazing and inexpensive food & beverage. The villa is well equipped, clean, spacious and modern with hands-on owners who cannot do enough to help make for a comfortable visit. When we had confusion with heating [we had rare cold weather] or other, Deborah would respond to emails within minutes to help us! We drove 2.5hrs from Lisbon airport but did get lost near the end. I would suggest that an accurate 'home made' map & instructions would help to find this property as addresses in Portugal are not recognized by GPS devices easily. Once we had the lay of the land with local roads, not named mostly, we were fine to get around. We could not imagine arriving at night! Reception at Pestana guided us right to the house. There is much competition in the Algarve for the tourist dollar with many villas to choose from, but we think that we scored a home run with this property. The involvement directly with the owner, while a bit of a hassle for them at times, was partly what made this so special. We would return here without question........but when weather is less risky. Beautiful spacious villa with everything you need for your holiday. Beautifully appointed.
We had a great week here with the family. Everything we needed was here. I only deducted one star because the metal stop for the electric gates was a problem catching under the cars so we had to manoeuvre very carefully in and out. Only a minor point as everything was great. The owners have thought of everything. Absolutely beautiful villa and well appointed. Very peaceful location and close to restaurants and beaches. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

Just enjoyed a superb two week stay in Casa Larkin. Would highly recommend this property, it has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Wonderful House - a special place away from home
The property is simply beautiful. Set in large grounds with a nice size pool and sunbeams for everyone it is a great place to relax. We went in September so the sunshine is not guaranteed but we had a good week. Most of it was spent outside on the balcony or by the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and the lounge is beautifully laid out. Nice kitchen and every facility you need around the house. Very quiet (apart from when the gardner comes round with his garden vac) but within close range of a supermarket a water park and some nice beaches. Highly recommended.

Wonderful villa, fully equipped with everything that you possibly need on a family vacation
We spent one weekend with our 4 nieces, aged 8 to 19 at this excellent villa. The swimming pool and outdoor area facilities are everything that you would want and more for a family vacation. We loved the mini golf putting green and also the many board games available at the villa. The wifi which is a must for any holiday rental was outstanding. This villa is one of the best we have ever rented for vacation, the villa and all the amenities are to an extremely high standard, we had an amazing time and will definitely return again. A big thanks to Deborah who was always available if we had any questions. If you are looking for a truly wonderful family villa for holiday rental, then this is the one for you

Beautiful villa, great views and really well furnished
We loved Casa Larkin, with its light airy spaces and beautiful gardens. Three good-sized bedrooms and two very well fitted bathrooms, but the best space is the kitchen/living room and the balcony off this. Portugal is having a cool summer, only 24-25c when we were here but it felt hotter. So much so that lunch on the balcony was often too hot - some shade needed perhaps? The other effect of the cool nights was that the pool was very refreshing! We moved the outside dining table over to the bbq area for the week and the bbq itself became a nice fireplace to relax by for an hour or two. The Villa comes with bikes, golf clubs and is very well stocked with what you need. Nice walks around the golf course, but a little frustrating that the villa is by an entrance gate to the estate that is permanently locked. So to get on on foot or bike means a long walk or ride uphill first and makes a walk to Ferragudo impossible. And it’s a long way back out of the estate. Ferragudo itself is small and charming. The best rated restaurant, Fim do Mundo was fully booked a week ahead, so we missed out. Rei das Praias, overlooking a small beach nearby, was outstanding both in terms of food and service. Finally Sueste was popular but with surly/indifferent service so felt overpriced. Will we return, yes probably, to go to Fim do Mundo and once we accept that you have to drive everywhere. There is nothing within walking distance. A lovely week and set us up for a great Algarve holiday.

Superb!
A beautiful, well equipped & clean villa set on a large plot overlooking the golf course. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. The children loved having the good sized pool to themselves and the adults loved the patio & BBQ area. Nothing was too much trouble for Deborah, the owner, she provided lots of helpful information and tips and was able to resolve a minor problem same evening when contacted through the app. We have visited the Algarve many times and this is by far the best place we have stayed. It's not often that something is just as the pictures show however this villa is exactly as you see it here on this website - beautiful!

Loved our stay at this beautiful villa
The villa was everything as described and more, all the nice touches & decoration made it very comfortable and homely. Stayed for 10 days, but would have loved to been able to stay longer. Didn't see a cloud in the sky the whole holiday, so the good sized pool was really needed to cool off. Already missing the beautiful blue sky's. The host Deborah was brilliant giving us lots of information and always there at the end of the phone if you needed to ask anything. Great base for visiting lots of the beautiful towns & beaches along the Algarve. Very handy supermarket only a couple of minutes away and lots of great cafes and restaurants within 5 to ten minutes drive along with the club house on site. The villa is based on a golf course (even though we are not golfers) with 24 hours security. A beautiful setting with lovely landscaped garden. Would definitely recommend this property. Old and worn out
Although the property looked really nice on the website, our arrival and stay were disappointing. The house is worn out, filthy, has a lot of broken items and needs a deep clean plus lots of minor repair. We had to buy new sheets as the old ones had stains in them. The kitchen is sticky, oven, pots and pans are greasy, dishwasher and vacuum cleaner are not working properly. Would not recommend this one to my friends and family. According to the owner the house is on the 6th green but there is no point where you can see people putting. Last, the house is close to a road crossing so there is traffic noise all day, although it slows down at night

Hi Caroline, I would like to address your comments. You messaged me on your first day about how disappointed you were about my property, so I offered to reimburse all of your money so you could find accommodation that met your needs. I asked for photographs via WhatsApp of your remarks about cleanliness (although when I asked for clarification you could only state a sticky condiment cupboard ) so I could rectify them if needed by asking the house keeper to attend, however you didn’t send any. If anything was broken or needed repairing I would have happily called maintenance if you had let me know, which you didn’t . The villa is 12 years old as specified on the site it is regularly maintained and new items purchased when worn or needed. The Villa is on the 6th green of Vale da Pinta as specified on Google earth not just by me. I am sorry you found the small road outside the golf course to be noisy, you are the first person to ever comment on it. Yours is the first negative review I have ever received in five years which is disappointing as I strive to provide a good experience for all my guests, as can be seen in all my other reviews.
