Lovely stay in Tavira at a lovely apartment. Restaurants in Tavira are fabulous and the beaches round and about are beautiful and so easy to reach. Steps to get to Tavira town are a bit of a struggle coming back with two toddlers but there is always the option of a taxi which is only 3 euros. We will return at some stage to this lovely part of Portugal .

Tavira apartment
This property was very clean, close to town, and affordable. My only suggestion would be to provide more comfortable mattresses and some minor cookery updates. All in all, very nice stay.

Great Spot
Really well appointed apartment in a nice small complex. Pool right outside the door and plenty of sun chairs etc if the ones on the deck were taken. Kitchen had everything you would need. Town was a 10 minute walk, bit of a slog going back up the stairs, but overall great place.

A delightful, spacious and well equipped apartment a healthy stroll from the town and all its delights. The pool was especially welcome after a long days exploration of this attractive and interesting part of Portugal.

Ideal Location and Quiet
We have stayed a number of times in Tavira over the past few years and this apartment was by far the best. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the town, the peace and quiet was much appreciated. This was a well equipped apartment as described, we did have an initial issue but this was very quickly rectified by Dulce. The TV/WiFi package was excellent, the best we have experienced in Portugal. Access to the town was via a lengthy flight of steps which was not an issue for us. We will be returning for another extended stay early next year.

Excellent apartment very good value
Very spacious and comfortable apartment in very attractive complex. A steep walk down to the town via a stairway. Even veterans like us managed it however. Management very responsive when we communicated a problem. A bigger variety of glasses would have been appreciated but not a big issue. This apartment is very good value

Family holiday in Tavira
The property is in a really nice complex, lovely pool, the apartment has everything you need for a family of four. Paul and Jan the owners where excellent in any communication, always quick to respond to any query. I would definitely reccomend this accommodation, it's approx 10 min walk from the town of Tavira down some steps(121 I think my daughters counted!), the town is lovely with loads of good restaurants and some sort of entertainment on most evenings. We had an excellent family holiday.

Lovely Tavira
Great apartment! Very comfortable and has everything you would need including cool bag and beach towels. We had an issue with a shower and the owners sorted it within an hour...excellent! Lovely quiet area. After a 10-15 mins walk you are in the centre of Tavira. Beautiful pool. The pool and the gardens are kept to a high standard, we saw the pool man and the gardeners several times also the handymen during our week. We found having a car was a great help especially if you wanted to do a shop at the supermarket. Only negative the steps down to centre of Tavira may be a struggle for people less fit. Enjoyed our holiday very much.

Lovely apartment exactly as the pictures show
This is a lovely well equipped apartment with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is particularly well equipped (but put a sharp knife in your hold luggage!) and the bathrooms are great. We stayed here at the beginning of November so although the weather wasn't particularly kind it was still lovely to wander around the quaint town of Tavira. Dulce was there to meet us on our arrival to show us around the apartment and Jan and Paul were quick to respond when we texted them with a small problem. It was extremely quiet whilst we were there and the pool was freezing cold, but that is to be expected in November. Don't be put off by the steps down to the town they are well built and well lit at night, and even recovering from a broken ankle I managed to navigate them down and back up when we visited Sal No Ponto restaurant just at the bottom of the steps, which we can highly recommend and which seems to be used by many of the locals which is always a good sign. We can also recommend Mira Tapas Bar on the other side of the river, where they serve great and unusual tapas. We spent quite a lot of time there! And a trip over to Tavira Island is a must, even though it was a bit like a ghost town in November, but the beaches are lovely and clean, great for kids and the one restaurant which was open (La Sal) was pricey but excellent.

Nice stay at a pleasant apartment in Tavira
Let's get the "bad" bits out of the way. First of all the promised "meet and greet" did not materialise and we never saw the lady the whole week we were there. So we had no instructions about the complex etc. or any local info. to go on. The hairdryer didn't work (that happens) so we were promised a replacement by text - whilst we were out someone let themselves into the apartment and left a new iron!! A couple of the loungers were broken as well.The complex has no snack bar or shop nearby so do not assume you can easily get provisions - whilst I agree a car is not essential, if we stayed again we would hire one for the shopping alone. The steps up to the complex are a bit of a challenge as well. However, the good bits - nice spacious apartment, comfy bed, plenty of hot water and lovely shower & bath, lovely pool, lovely beach (the ferry journey over is great) and the sea was like bath water it was so warm. Tavira is a lovely traditional town with more places to eat than you can manage and the people were lovely - definitely not an egg-and-chips resort. The apartment owners are also very helpful, a shame they were let down by their local "help". Would recommend but personally would advise a car. Also recommend SunLine taxis from the airport - they were excellent.

Tavira is a wonderful place to visit and made only better by staying in this apartment
A beautiful spacious apartment with all the things you need for day trips to the beach and picnics. Many thoughtful touches made this holiday special for us. Be prepared, the apartment is quite a walk from Tavira with steep steps. We quite enjoyed the stroll after overindulging in the many fabulous restaurants in the town.

Schönes Appartement in schmutzigem Zustand
Das Appartement liegt in wunderschöner Umgebung, ist geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Allerdings war es nicht in sauberem Zustand. Den Kühlschrank mussten wir erst gründlich reinigen, an den Gummiabdichtungen der Tür, ebenso am Gefrierteil, war Schimmel. Die Teppiche im Wohnzimmer und in den Schlafzimmern waren voller Staub und Fusseln. Ein Staubsauger war nicht vorhanden. Die Kopfkissen und Bettdecken waren schmutzig und unansehnlich. Die Dame von der Agentur versprach, einen Staubsauger zu bringen, was aber nicht geschah. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, Receiver defekt. Einen Tag vor unserer Abreise wurde ein neuer Receiver installiert. In einem der beiden Bäder funktionierte die Wasserspülung der Toilette oft erst nach mehrmaliger Betätigung. In einem der beiden Schlafzimmer war die Wand feucht, und der Putz bröckelte. Insgesamt hat dies unseren Aufenthalt sehr getrübt.

Het appartement is zeer luxueus ingericht, met ruime (slaap)kamers en een keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ligt op de benedenverdieping, direct aan een grote tuin, in een rustige omgeving.
