Omg I can not rave enough about this place. It's nothing short of amazing, the pool was always clean the apartment was just gorgeous with double french doors opening up to the patio looking over the pool. The kitchen was great so we could cook and not spend money on going out. The bed was not to firm and the property management was also just amazing. Plz if you are ever in this area you will not be disappointed as the property is like condominiums and just quiet and peaceful. And very clean.

Check-in was easy, our studio was basic, but it was clean and adequate for our needs. The pool area was well maintained and there were plenty of sun beds. There is a cafe bar by the pool with reasonably priced food and drink and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely use the Tavira Garden for future visits

Was very pleasantly sunrises on arrival and Monica and Sandro plus staff were helpful if needed, Lovely little neighbourhood close to all amenities. Accommodation was fabulous and grounds around the area with pools were peaceful but delightful.

This place was a beautiful private apartment on the outskirts of Tavira, very well appointed with everything you could want, super clean and with the friendliest check-in person ever!

Beautifully maintained landscaped garden surrounds with many non-diseased palm trees to admire and some stunning bourgonvillea displays. With such an extended dry period in the Algarve, all the more impressive.!! The whole complex newly exterior painted white which added to the impression of good maintenance. Amazing value at off-season rates, very quiet and relaxing, but was informed that in the main holiday season considerable noise emanates from the swimming-pool area. Beds comfortable and kitchen well-equipped with white goods. Booked studio but allocated one-bedroom apartment and check-in staff pleasant and helpful. On the negative side - apartment faced busy road so considerable traffic noise. Apartment dated, some failed light-bulbs, extractor fan in bathroom in-operative, failed to obtain TV signal reception, no wine glasses provided - only small liqueur glasses. However, in view of the extraordinary value offered these items could be lived with!!!

Good base for Tavira
I stay here regularly as it is a comfortable option for Tavira which is a lovely town in the eastern Algarve with it's amazing island beach. The Town gets very busy these days with English Tourists but still has a pleasant vibe. Tavira Gardens Apartments are like a Holiday village with it's own pool and cafe.The Rooms are mostly really nice and clean and spacious with all you might need.Run by Englisg speaking Sandro and Monica. The only thing missing is wifi and any English channels on TV. 20-30 minute walk to town centre where there are many restaurants,some better than others but nearly all busy.The Traditional ones don't take Reservations and are always packed which I like.

Very poor quality room...dirty linen...no amennities except toilet paper. A/C works so weakly that hard to feel coolness, ants, warm refrigerator....someone should check the room to rent...absolutely regret to stay there...if possible, I want my money back!!

Love Tavira Garden itself, clean, great staff and lovely pools, near to town etc, never feels crowded even in July. The apartment this time was more dated and had an issue with ants in the bathroom, did not worry too much (did report) as was only there on a 3 day business trip. For a week however no that particular apartment.

The free Wi-Fi is only in the reception area which was not close to our room. There are no chairs in the reception area or outside of the reception area either. The location was absolutely horrible and we needed to take a taxi every time we wanted to get to El Centro and back to the apartment. They said it was 9/10 of a kilometer and it was way more than that plus you had to walk along the highway with fast moving cars, without sidewalks. The taxi cost average, 8 1/2 euros per way. The location is all the way on the upper edge of town and you should have a car if you want to stay here. There is no place to walk to nearby. However it is very quiet.

The apartment was very run down.we only stayed two nights if it had been longer we would have complained.The lights were hanging out of ceilings the one on balcony was covered with a carrier bag very disappointed .Toilet seat was cracked and broken.Would not recommend.

Overall isn't a bad flat .The furniture is a bit old and the beds was a bit uncomfortable, also wasn't well cleaned. But for its price cannot complain .Good comunication and big swimming pool. Good place if you want to save money.

located on the main road through Tavira this hotel is amazingly quiet. It is a bit of a walk into town but we did not mind that. Our appartment was very spacious and extremely well equipped. The staff were really helpful and very good. The chap staffing the pool was great...nothing was too much trouble...he obviously knew a lot of guests (who must be regulars)...the place was full when we went but he made sure that the pool was quiet and that children could not run riot and shout and splash too much. We had a good holiday here.

Disappointed this time.
Staff here are great and very friendly. We've stayed here before and it was a lovely apartment, this time was not so great. It was the small things like bulbs in lamps broken, most of the hangers in the wardrobe were split and beds were so uncomfortable. It was cold in the apartment all the time so we had to get extra blankets out and have the heat on constantly. However, the apartments are not too far from the town and the gardens/ surroundings are very nice.

Spacious apartment
Very large for a one bedroom apartment. Could do with a bit of a makeover. The kitchen and bathroom needed upgrading. There was an old fashioned electric hob and a fridge that didn't get very cold. In the bathroom the shower head had to be held as there wasn't a bracket. There was a bar in the living room that Dell Boy would have been proud of! Overall a good experience.

You get what you pay for.
This complex is a walkable distance from the town, where you will probably end up eating. They have a small poolside bar, however the day we arrived, we could not order any food when we tried at 5pm as the kitchen was now closed. The following day we tried to go there for breakfast, but the place was closed all day. Everything in the apartment worked, but was very tired, and the bed creamed every time we rolled over LOL. The check in/out was very easy and the guy was very helpful.

all facilities you have at home, very noisy traffic day and night, beside a dual carrigeway which you have to walk up the road to get to the nearest supermarket. only very bad snack bar on site, One restaurant only and a fifteen min walk up the hill, food very basic.

Pleasant hotel 25 mins from town
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay but would not recommend to people with walking difficulties as it is a 25 mun walk to town along a busy road.

Just outside the downtown, about a little over a mile's walk to the Roman bridge area of old town. Manager was very helpful, room was spotless. Wifi only in office area unless you rent a router for 5 Euro/day. Small cafe in the complex as well.

Allocated north facing apartment but was damp, badly lit and blankets were grubby. Allocated another appartment which was beautifully appointed with every convenience included but again badly lit. my overall complaint was that both apartments were impossible to get warm. Given that this was January it may not be surprising but in the end I had to move out to stay somewhere warmer. The management were very understanding and helpful.

Great location
The people were really lovely at the reception. Very welcoming and told us if we needed anything to not hesitate to ask. The apartment complex was very quiet and secluded yet only 10 minutes walk from town. The apartment had everything from an ironing board, microwave kettle etc... We did not need to purchase anything but food from the local supermarket. The apartment we stayed in was situated at the back of the complex so our view from the balcony was a beautiful forest of pine trees. We will definitely come back again and we highly recommend Tavira Garden.

Apartment was lovely. There was nothing round it. 25 minute walk to Tavira and not a pretty walk had to cross railway line. Swimming pools on site were ok. We were told the bar closed at 8.00 so we didn't go there. Asked at reception about buses but they had no idea. You need a car to get to see anywhere. Tavira is a very quiet place. Ok for a short break.

Enjoyable family holiday in Tavira
We stayed in apartment 10, 1-B large 2 bed apartment on 1st floor. We travelled with a 1 year old would have been better to be on the ground floor. We booked a 1 bed apt but was given a 2 bed apt. Not a complaint but I wonder why it was changed? I noticed a Portuguese family with grown-up kids got a ground floor apt, plus a Portuguese couple with a dog also got a ground floor. I think anyone with kids under 5 years maybe should get priority. We liked the apartment and enjoyed Tavira (maybe not the most pushchair friendly town!) Footpaths stopping and starting all over the place. The only negative comments I would say about the apartment was the rooms could have been a bit cleaner. The blinds in the main bedroom were black with mildew and should have been thrown out a long time ago. The voile curtains in the main living/eating area were inadequate for a room which got the sun from 8am-3pm with 4 large windows. This meant you really needed to use the air-conditioning. The floor tiles are very dangerous when wet I nearly hurt myself badly when I slipped and fell on some water. Bathroom could be a bit stinky! Apartment was well enough equipped and we enjoyed being there minus those other details. We were given clean towels half way through the week, i thought it strange that we did not get clean sheets at the same time. Early check-in was definitely a plus when we arrived just after 12pm. Swimming pool very nice, bar staff a bit bored looking and uninterested in their jobs.

2 adults and 3 children in spacious 2 bed apartment. The facilities of pool and bar were a treat and the apartment was convenient for these facilities. However there was dust under the bed and the kitchen lacked some basic equipment: including chopping board, bread knife and large bowls for salad etc. The TV had a maximum of 2 channels- Spanish and Portuguese so a DVD player and a radio would have been a bonus.

We were party of six: 2 adults and 3 children stayed in a spacious 2 bed apartment with one adult in a studio. The studio flat was clean and adequately equipped for 1/2 persons. The convenience of the pool made it ideal for young and old alike. A regular supermarket only 5 mins walk away. Approx 20 min walk into town which we did most days, though a shuttle bus would have been a bonus a taxi for six was only 5€. We would certainly return to Tavira garden.

Lovely quietly located apartments with two pools. One supermarket is 5 mins walk, the other 20 mins inside a large shopping centre. Town is only a 20 min walk/5 min cab ride where there are plenty of small shops, restaurants and quite cultural. Including many churches, castle ruins, lovely garden, museums, modern art and if you're lucky something going on near the river. I saw a full orchestra and opera singer one night! Very peaceful, lovely people. There are a few bars here, but it's all very civilised. Perfect for a quiet and gentle getaway.

A superbly equipped and pleasant place to stay.
A superbly equipped and pleasant place to stay. The restaurant serves very good food although the choice is limited. The pools are a great place to chill out and the beer is reasonably priced, especially the Estrella Galicia. The rooms are well equipped and even have the air conditioning (essential during our stay) included in the price. The bedrooms are comfortable and have plenty storage space. They even include more than enough coat hangers!!! The kitchen area in our apartment (called a studio) was very well equipped and had everything we needed - Cooker, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, 'fridge and all the pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cups and other neccessities anyone could ever require. There was even a vast selection of glasses. The only slight catch was that it was approximately 2 km from the centre of Tavira. This is no problem if, like my wife and I, you enjoy walking. Tavira is a very picturesque and lively little town with good cafes and restaurants. I would particularly recommend A Taska if you like an excellent steak.

We enjoyed Tavira Garden Apartments, we were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment. Excellent Pool Cafe in our block, No 10. Philomena went out of her way to cater for me and avoid foods my wife allergic to. Nick & Daniel, who are English, manage the bar & cafe. They were very friendly and helpful. The Pool is independent of the apartment management so getting light bulb changed & taps on bathroom sink tightened never happened. Also new umbrellas & pool chairs/loungers needed.

Good hotel complex, nice pools and close to Tavira
We stayed in an apartment which was lovely, clean and tidy with a stunning roof top terrace but as it was near the road, it was very noisy with traffic and party goers at night. We had friends who stayed in the more central area which was a lot quieter. The complex is nice with 3 lovely, well looked after swimming pools and the staff are very good indeed. We hired the Internet service for the week (25 euros) which didn't work the first two times but the guy on reception was brilliant and contacted the company who quickly supplied a box that worked brilliantly. There are plenty of pool side sun beds but they really need cushions and you will need to take your own beach towels as they didn't supply them. Maybe this is something they do in high season but we couldn't see any, despite being informed there would be some by the pool. They supply you with a pool access card, which is a great idea as its stops random people using the pools.

The apartment was old fashioned and unkempt.All appliances were dirty and rusty.Bathroom was dirty grouting mouldy. No kettle!!! and riddled with ants!!! Sunloungers with no cushions extremely poor had to go and buy our own cushions.Check in delayed by 3 hours!!! sitting around in that heat was no joke!!! Glad it was only 2 nights stay would not advise anyone to book to stay there!!
