Peace in Nature
Couldn’t fault anything about this guest house. It is a little remote- around 10 mins taxi from the closest village but if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful place, this is perfect. We didn’t realise that there was the option of an evening meal so it was great when this was offered on arrival. A delicious meal for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was fresh and tasty too. Pool area clean with lovely views. Room very clean and comfortable. Overall a lovely stay!

Great remote location. Friendly staff. Very clean. Swimming pool is very nice. Breakfast is not great: for a ecological place you would want ecological and tasty products for breakfast. That can be done better.

We loved that it was off the beaten track and felt that we were close to nature. Definitely need a vehicle or an electric bike if you want to explore the area. Good routes to hike, but you need to be fit. A good gps a necessity. Staff were very attentive and had great fare at ‘the Gralha’ and the guesthouse itself.

Quiet and relaxing with great service
Great spot. So peaceful and quiet. The service and the food were great. In warmer weather I could imagine the pool area to be very enjoyable

A gem, you won't regret booking!
This is a gem, set in the countryside, close to Silves. The staff are so friendly, they can not do enough for you to help you enjoy your stay. The pool and view from the outside verandah is glorious. There is a nice cafe/ restaurant close by, although you can eat in if you wish. A beautiful place to rest, explore and re-group!

very friendly staff, very clean rooms although the bathrooms are a little behind. And the pool needs a thorough clean up to my opinion. But overall a nice remote stay near Messines with all the help you need from the staff. Muito obrigado.

Photos conformes à la réalité, tout est décoré avec goût. Séjour agréable, le personnel est serviable et bienveillant. Aménagement des lieux bien pensé : parking, piscine, pelouse, terrain ... Seul point négatif : le manque de lumière naturelle dans les chambres. Convient pour les couples, les familles ou les duos, comme nous (ma fille et moi). Nous avons découvert de magnifiques paysages dans la nature (circuits de randonnée conseillés par André - merci) et avons visité plusieurs villes proches et accessibles facilement en voiture. A conseiller fortement pour un séjour paisible.

Quiet getaway along Via Algarviana
Our second stay in this quiet getaway along the Via Algarviana. We stayed here for 4 nights in October. Nice authentic clean rooms and great staff. Breakfast with local products.

This was my 4th stay at Vale Fuzeiros Guesthouse, i totally disliked opposite to the other 3 since i was given a room inside the main building which door was located 1 meter from the reception desk ,1 meter, from the main door ,and just 2 meters from breakfast and living area (where people can watch tv and play games) and kitchen ,no privacy ,you can listen to every noise, absolutely unthinkable for a nature guesthouse or for any kind of hotel , i was very disappointed, this should be mentioned when booking, that the room is located inside the main house and not in the outside ... Hated it , could hear guests doing check in 1 meter from my room and when i confronted the receptionist on dutie i was told that check in was only during daytime...So what? 83euros include listening to the phone ring and people checking in? Besides all this ,the pool is great if you are with 5-6 people ...Besides that forget it ,its impossible, no place to sit or laying down its more like a pool of a house...Management should rethink all this and create a bigger pood area where every guest of the 9 rooms can use the pool without having to wait that another guest leaves so that there is a free space from the ONLY 6 laying chairs...

Just relax and enjoy the best of the Algarve
A great overall experience,the room was very spacious and comfortable, the surroundings,(garden,pool,balcony) are very well taken care and decorated with really good taste,the balcony is huge and really really nice to just be sitting there relaxing ,having breakfast or reading a book ,and all the staff ,Rita&Lena, go above and beyond to make you feel at home and if anything is not as you feel it should be they will do all their best to improve it. Definitely a place to share and to return . Its very close to a road but you wont feel it since almost no cars go by by the opposite you will feel you are in the middle of nothing close to everything. As a plus there is an excellent restaurant (lunch only) just 2 mns walking from the accommodation. If you are looking for the real Algarve but still not far from the crowds and from the beaches this could be what you are looking for,

Heerlijk rustgevende omgeving. Prachtig guesthouse. Goed ontbijt. Vriendelijke dames. Fijne bedden. TOP! Wel een stukje rijden naar de kust. Maar dat weet je van te voren. Er zouden wat zoete lekkernijen op de snackkaart mogen. 😉

La maison est géniale! La chambre un peu petite mais très fonctionnelle avec une super literie. Les plus de la maison: bon petit déjeuner, piscine et cadre agréable. Les filles de la réception sont très sympathiques et serviables. Cet endroit est parfait pour vos séjours en Algarve.

Perfekt zum Abschalten
Etwas abgelegen, sehr ruhig und der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten. Eine große Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick, einen Pool gibt es auch (aber im März noch zu kalt). Sehr nettes Personal und das Frühstück ist sehr üppig, sogar mit Eiern und Speck wenn man möchte. Abendessen gibt es dort auf Anfrage ebenfalls. War ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war ohne Fenster. Die einzige Möglichkeit, den Raum zu lüften war die Eingangstüre zu öffnen bzw. offen zu lassen. Sehr merkwürdig. Nach Verhandlung mit dem Hotelpersonal wurde ein anderes Zimmer mit Fenster zum vereinbarten Preis zu Verfügung gestellt.
