I and my parents had an enjoyable experince in this hotel during our 10 day trip to the istanbul. Sisli is a great neighborhood and we felt safe in this area in additin to its access toplent of malls and restaraunts however commute to the kadikoy and taksim can take up to one hour during rush hour and you should consider it of you are traveklling with senior people.

This was my first time ever in Turkey and the staff at Demiray made the experience so amazing! It was raining all week when we were there but the hotel provided free umbrellas to use which was so helpful! The view from the top floor during breakfast was so beautiful, and speaking of breakfast, the food changes everyday but every single item was so delicious and worth trying, especially the soup of the day! Special thanks to the front desk staff for a smooth check in, we were able to get a room earlier than expected and when we checked out, they let us have some turkish coins as souvenirs! We had such a packed schedule that we didn't try the spa/pool but I wish we could've because it looked super nice! The location was great and in the middle of everything, the max walk to get somewhere was 15 minutes. You were also so close to the bridge that you could walk it instead of taking a ferry, which is what we did and got to see the Galata tower just by walking 25 min! I would stay here again if I come back to Istanbul!!

The Armada was a surprisingly good value for the cost. The room was really fine and had everything I needed, though it might have been a little spartan. Where the hotel shined was in other areas. The location was super, walking distance to a number of sights and activities.the neighbor the hotel was in offered a lot of amenities,good local restaurants and had a way less touristy feel. The comp breakfast was excellent and the rooftop dinner area for breakfast was special. That area became a bar at night and was a very pleasant place to end the day., views were awesome. I have stayed in some grand hotels in Istanbul that were really top notch but would recommend the Armada highly for a quality stay at a reasonable price

This was a great hotel in a great location in old town. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and very accommodating and always willing to help with great restaurant recommendations or planning day trips. The restaurant in the hotel had tasty Turkish street food options. The breakfast was in the hotel was good. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to all the major attractions. The hotel description and write up was accurate. We would definitely stay here again.
