"Property was beautifully kept and maintained, it was also spotlessly clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful with a great level of English. Then there was the breakfast, or Bregustation, event. This is delicious and a unique offering in a city of uniqueness, do build time in for this if you stay there. If you are staying elsewhere in Galle or the area, it is well worth booking in and paying extra for, all courses hand prepared to order and full of taste and meaning. Thoroughly recommended!!"

Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. "This is a Beautiful old Villa right in the heart of Galle Fort. Room was amazing very generous in size and beautifully styled in colonial manner, huge balcony and excellent bathroom leading off the balcony all 100% private we loved it ! A beautiful small pool which I enjoyed a lot. Full service for fools and beverage should it be required. Breakfast was a real treat served in the dining area overlooking the garden and pool. Staff were 1st rate and helped make the stay special. I will be back !"

"This place is a gem. The location is PERFECT, beautiful shops and restaurants right on your doorstep and close to the fort. Its in a lovely historic building with the most beautiful woodwork and interior. We had the family room which had two large and comfortable beds. The internet works fantastically - I was able to do a zoom call for work with no issues or delays. Lovely kind staff."

"Staff were lovely, the breakfast was exceptional and location perfect. The beds were comfortable. We had a family room so no window to the outside apart from a small window looking over the foyer and the climb to the second bed very steep. Unfortunately there was no hot water and the information provided was that it would not be repaired for several days and applied to the whole property. Staff seemed unconcerned when we complained and a partial refund (about 1/5 of room cost) was provided. Fortunately we had only booked 2 nights but other than hot water it was lovely."
