"We wanted to visit my daughter and her family at Fort Stewart but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Fortunately we found this lovely property that allowed us to spend as much time together as possible before she left for Poland. The pool for my grandson to play in was a big plus. Charlene (the owner) was very responsive to our questions. I hope we can get back before my daughter leaves on her next assignment."

"We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!"

"We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our large, extended family. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect set up for several family groups to stay in one home. We loved the outdoor covered area and pier/dock. The Cornhole game was a hit. We even caught some crabs. The yard/pier/dock was a concern when I booked because our group included 2 children under 4. However I was pleasantly surprised to find it was totally safe with wire fencing on all sides. Savannah and the many beaches...

"The yellow door lodge will be my go to from now on whenever we have events at our church with out of town guests. The place is super clean and in a very nice neighborhood. The host was easy to work with and very nice. Great amenities, and everything you need right at your hand! I highly recommend this place for your travel needs away from home!"

"We stayed here for 1 night while passing through from FL to NC. The house was a short distance from I-95, so that was nice. It was very quaint. We were traveling with dogs, so the backyard would have been nice, except the grass was a bit long, so we could not let them out. However, the quiet older neighborhood allowed for great leash-walking! This was a nice alternative to a hotel because it was quiet and gave us a little more space. We were there for less than 12 hours, so we did not have...

"The house was nice, but couldn’t enjoy our stay due to excessive flies in the house. When we got there the 4 trash cans outside the house was full which was drawing the flies. I contacted the host and he said that he would take away some of the trash. The host then told me that he wasn’t able to get all the trash and that trash pick up is on Wednesdays. We arrived on Saturday and was checking out on Wednesday. The host also said he would bring us some flying insect spray to help with the flies...
