"Family run facility at a competitive rate. I enjoyed my stay and extended once. The Hotel was great but the small town seemed way too busy for local population to include one busy-A$$ highway doubling as main street through the center. The local wetland and library were of great joy and computer/administrative aid."

It was fun to meet the very kind owner - he stopped by to check that we had everything we needed, and offered good advice to make our weekend even better."

"We had such a wonderful stay! The house was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what our family was hoping for. Everything was thoughtfully organized, clearly labeled, and easy to find, so we settled in right away and never had to wonder where anything was.Our kids discovered a new love for kayaking during this trip, and they also had so much fun with all the games, toys, and the arcade machine—it kept them entertained for hours. It was clear the hosts put a lot of thought into creating a space that families can truly enjoy.We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake home with us!"

"The home was the perfect setting for us mom's to get away. We went during the Allyn Days street fair, weather was amazing, and the tides worked in our favor for any beach combing and kayaking. They supplied 8 kayaks, paddles and life vests (vests came in many youth sizes and 5 adult XXL so pack accordingly). Plenty of seats on the deck to enjoy the sun and listen to the water. We saw some seals playing during high tide and used the supplied binoculars. Plenty of towels supplied for beach and bathing. The home is very close to town and a golf course which we enjoyed. This is a great house for a family weekend of exploring.Some defects we ran into:The mattresses on the bunk beds are definitely designed for children (not adults) and one queen bed was broken making it impossible to sleep two people. The towels need to be replaced or deep cleaned as they had a mildewy odar (maybe the washing machine needs to be deep cleaned). One toilet did not flush, and the handy man fixed it enough to work for 2 days then broke again, but 2 other toilets helped us get thru the last day.Upon arrival, we had to clean the coffee pot since it was filled with molded coffee grounds.Many dishes in the cupboard were dirty and had to be rewashed before using.Deck lights outside did not turn on for evening time outside. The bathroom shower hooks and floor vents need attention."

"We met with lifelong friends at Hank & Lucy's Beachfront house and we had a great time. The home was clean, large, and fun. We really appreciated being able to use the kayaks and firepit. We made smores and loved that a smore set was already provided. I enjoyed making coffee each morning and sitting out on the Adirondak chairs or the outdoor couch. We loved the hot tub, games, puzzles, and grill for outdoor cooking. The only downfall was the heat in the upstairs "pink" bedroom-- It was pretty hot up there at night. Other than that, the other upstairs rooms were cooled by units. They were cool and comfortable. We loved our stay!"

"We stayed in this home as a family of five with kids' ages ranging from 7 to 19. The abundance of space and the setting made for one of the most serene vacation experiences that we've experienced as a family.Every morning, you are greeted with a beautiful sunrise over the horizon and an abundance of natural light and warmth. There's never a bad time to enjoy the porches, whether its enjoying a morning coffee or enjoying the breeze as the sun begins to set. The property is fully fenced, which to my eye seems to be a rarity in the area, so you can limit access to the water when needed. The water comes and goes with the tide, so mornings are an opportunity to search for shells or creatures, while the returning tide in the evening is your chance to get paddling or swimming.The house has four bedrooms and a lot of living space. We never felt cramped or on top of each other, which isn't always the case with waterfront properties. Even a larger group than ours would find there to be plenty of space. The house seemed to have everything we needed, contrary to some earlier reviews that we read.Finally, the proximity to activities in the area was good. There are a ton of smaller parks and places to spend time close by and you are a couple of hours from big parks like Olympic and Rainier. Grocery stores are plentiful and restaurants seem to be everywhere in the region."

"Such a rad spot for a 4th of July getaway. The whole neighborhood went all out with the fireworks it was seriously one of the coolest shows we’ve seen, and the vibe all weekend was awesome.The lake was perfect for hanging out, swimming, and just soaking up the holiday. The house had plenty of space for everyone, and there were tons of games that kept the kids busy and having fun.Overall, just a super fun, easygoing place to kick back and make some great family memories. We’d definitely come back."
